Yea, and they missed 18 FTs, blew a 31-pt lead. HOU forced OT and then HOU looked really young and not well-coached in OT. Either that or they had nothing left in the tank after coming back from 31 down. In OT, Kuminga showed up: game over.

Meanwhile, Spiderman hits a shot with 1 sec left to send the Doc Rivers-led Bucks to 1-5. Dame had 41 and hit 10 3s. Cavs are 7-0.

Embiid suspended 3 games for shoving Philly Enquirer's Marcus Hayes.

Hayes should not have brought up Embiid's family. I think he knows that now, even before the suspension.

NBA players in this situation need to tell management: Keep this jagoff away from me; they're no longer getting any quotes, etc. Shoving the d-bag reporter was not a good look.

That said, the 76ers are getting a lot of scrutiny over holding Embiid out of games. From now on, just find a suitable reporter who said something even slightly out-of-line, shove him/her: voila!: 3 games that can be accounted for without having to lie about his wear and tear. Save quotes for the end of the season, when you're saving him for the playoffs.

    I'm joking here.

I don't know what Marcus Hayes was thinking. You don't bring up family members in that context. Stick with criticizing the player if you think it's deserved. My impression was that Hayes was channeling 76ers fans' disappointment over how the season began and that some fans think Embiid isn't playing enough, and he just was playing to fan discontentment and it went all bad for him. Hayes apologized but Embiid didn't accept. Hayes is a big deal sports reporter in Philly, but the Enquirer should pull him off the 76ers beat, in my opinion.

yeah, "channeling the fans" isn't your job, imo. so many other ways to get at the issue--which certainly is something that a reporter should do. i've harped for years about why AD is mr. glass while embiid has been (literally) sitting there, collecting accolades for being even more unavailable. what his dead brother or child has to do with that is beyond me. it was meant to create an emotional response, not to get at the truth.

Maxey out for 2 weeks. Embiid won't play tomorrow as well. PG should play but it's his 2nd game
We have to win this game for God sake.

I would like a Gabe for DLo switch in the lineup, already in this game. Looks like an appropriate time to shake up the roster and send a message. Wouldn't mind calling Olivari either and give him a few minutes, wouldn't hurt

kerr's really good. steph was back for this one, but i think podziemski was out. he's playing a ton of guys and making it work to outstanding effect. i'm actually pretty shocked. i thought they'd be mid-tier/play-in like us, and that any injury to steph or draymond would mean lotto city. they're playing very well. i hope we don't see them soon.

Watched T-Wolves @ Bulls 'cuz it's not like I'm gonna watch the "news," which I personally find way too depressing.

Wolves led 9-8, then Bulls caught fire, Vucevic looked really good. Nice post moves, then he spread the defense and hits 3s. At one point he was 10-11 from the field. Coby White is fun to watch and was hittin' 3s in the first half. Bulls led by 9 at the half. In the 3rd, just when MIN made a little run, the Bulls pushed it back up to 7 or 9.

But Minnie's a well-oiled machine and DiVincenzo and Julius are starting to jell. Wolves seemed to wear 'em down. MIN cut it to 2 with 3 mins left in the 3rd, but Bulls got it back to 5 by the end of the 3rd. CHI looks...better than last year.

Then MIN outscores them 45-24 in the 4th. It got pug-fugly quickly. Bulls, once they lost the lead, seemed to shrink up like a stack of dimes. But get this: it didn't really start until just after the 7-minute mark. Ant hits Julius for a layup and MIN has its first lead since 9-8.

    Ant hits a 3: MIN up 4
    Ant hits a 3: MIN up 7
Coby White and his hair - I can dig it - hit a shot: MIN up 5
There is 5 mins left, and it's still a game.

From there on out, MIN outscores CHI 20-9

Ant hits a 3 to put MIN up 17 with 1:48 left and both teams clear their benches. An interesting, tight game was blown apart by MIN's D, which led to O.

I think I was fooled by CHI. They're not all that great this year.

Ant has a cult in every arena now. Every kid under age 16 seems to be there to see him. They are not disappointed.

    I think it's fool's gold .I am not impressed.
GSW best twice Pelicans who doesn't have anybody, beat C Bags who played without MVP of the finals Brown .Almost lost to Houston by being up by 31 points and shooting 50 FT.
And today Cleveland is annihilated them by 41 at half time .
    Score is 83-42
Their next 2 games Oklahoma and Dallas

    Just watched GSW@CLE:

CLE up 83-42 at halftime. It's been a loooong while since I saw a game that turned into Garbage Time before halftime.

This was set up to be a statement game for GSW. It turned into one for CLE, who are now 10-0 and their next 6 games are:
    Nets
    Bulls
    76ers
    Bulls
    Hornets

    Then: @ C-Bags.
