    If they go rebuild, no reason for Hibbert on a one year deal. I guess that's a good sign.

    I'm just thinking out loud here, but I would doubt they have any clout for a lawsuit. If the NBA bargaining rules prohibit FA deals until July 9, then teams are simply taking their chances on verbal agreements that, for the most part, usually work out. I'm sure they'd try to sue, but I'd be shocked if it went anywhere.

    I mean they'd have a case, but it'd be rickety. Mainly Cuban would be doing it just to raise hell.

    To be fair to him, he DID plan out this summer thinking he had Jordan. He went and signed Wes Matthews and let Tyson walk and all this other stuff. I'm sure he's got promotional material already being done up. He's got money in this already so I'm sure he'd find a way to bring it to the NBA. In the end, I'm not sure what the NBA does about it. I read someone else say since verbal contracts are nonbinding there's no legal battles at play, but I doubt Cuban goes down that easily.
