When you have a PG that can't get to the hoop, it makes him much easier to guard. Other unathletic point guards could do that. Mark Jackson, Steve Nash, Andre Miller, Mark Price could all do that. Austin Reeves can do that. Dlo can't.

With someone like the Regulator on him, and we all know he's a great defender, he's neutralized, since he's too slow to drive, and he's to weak physically to back guys down. This wasn't an issue against Memphis since he was guarded by Ja Morant, who's atrocious defensively, and against GS, they put more effort into slowing down LeBron and Ludabrow. Denver is different.

Combine that with a coach that can't design a play and his overall mental weakness and here we are.

In other words it's time to move on. Regular season is one thing but playoffs are another thing entirely. We've seen this 2 years in a row and we can't depend on a point guard as athletic as Mike Penberthy that's also mentally weak.

interesting that we're tied for second most likely.

wonder if charlotte would really want him as a mentor for their young guards. but they do need more talent.

and don't have to worry about him in the playoffs.

yeah, once again don't see why they do it. if they want dlo, they can just sign him. richards makes only 5 million and is a rotation player for them. i guess maybe if they acquired another center?

Yeah. I honestly hadn’t even looked at his contract. Just think he’d be a great get.

I think we will know more about who is really on the move and available after the lottery is announced.

Im not set on particular guys more meeting specific team needs.

What’s he going to teach their youngsters?
How to only show up when the pressure is off?
How to snitch on a teammate and still have a career?

    Nobody takes him seriously.
He’s just a talking head, the loudest one, but still just a factory of hot air.

Talking loud got Stephen A. paid though. He makes more than some players.

Over the top as usual, but D'Angelo and his "I want All the Smoke" stuff, put himself in this position. Can't talk all that s***, and then pull a no show...again.

Dlo's problem is he is 100% reliant on his jumpshot. He needs to try to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. 0 ft attempts for the entire series. I know he was robbed of 2 but still.

DLO just isn’t built for the playoffs.

It is what it is at this point.

The talent is there, the mentality is woefully lacking.
