even weirder that nve's record was pre-three point madness and held this long. i wonder how many other teams' single season three point records were that old.

Well taking the George McCloud curse into consideration, it kind of makes sense. What I find the most surprising is that Kobe didn't have the record.

Van Exel's was when the 3pt line was moved in so a lot of those would be long two's now. Kobe would have had the record previously with legit nba threes. Bron also hit 161 in 56 games so he would have for sure broken it in a couple of years ago.

It's nice that Dlo has it though. His efficiency is the best of the bunch at 42.3% Congrats to him.

OK DAR ... just for the meager effort with the 29 points too in this great comeback win .... I'll bump your thread. Wow tough crowd.

he's answering the call - outplaying Dame in both of their matchups, and tbh, he really sparked that comeback in the 4th when he drilled a few 3's in a row.

Can he do it again tonight when we might potentially be short handed tonight?

Great job turning it around and was crucial down the stretch.

A few potential suitors are also listed in the piece.

i think orlando's a real threat to drive up dlo's price. not so sure about utah and SA, though. i don't think they'll be bidding unless it's to spite us, and i don't think dlo has any interest in playing in either place unless it's for insane money. orlando, though...

We have his Bird rights so I think he stays. We have a solid team, don't need any massive changes and I highly doubt there are any massive changes that will make us much better.

Just need to sign a Big Center to take pressure off AD and find a way to resign Spencer.

    And get a new coach...

letting him leave for nothing would be another massive mistake.

If Ham’s not here or if DLO is OK saying that he wants to be here regardless (in his own mind) then a possible incentive, among others, to give a hometown discount countering some portion of the Magic offering him more, would be his relationship on and off the floor with AR and their shared love of golf.

i think if ham isn't gone, we're paying a lot to keep him. obviously, there's the playoffs and stuff, but...what if we don't make it? it will be hard to argue that dlo was the reason we underperformed this year, and it would be very easy for his agent to point to lesser players making more money elsewhere to basically do the same things.

in other words, without the denver debacle to drive down his price last summer, i think he'd be on a bigger contract as we speak. i'm guessing there won't be a repeat of the denver debacle, so be prepared for numbers closer to 30 than 20. can jeanie stomach that? the temptation to let him walk and use the full MLE on dinwiddie will be very strong.

in any case, we'll have another interesting pg situation this summer, dlo essentially a re-run, dinwiddie in the schroder role, and gabe as an additional complication.

rob's going to have to have several plans, i think.

Unless LeBron retires this summer, it's going to be Championship or bust, every season until he does. This story could go in a lot of different directions, depending on how it eventually ends. Talent level has never been a question with D'Angelo IMO. The playoffs performance is going to be the deciding factor.
