this guy's death ruined the whole year, first by leaving us without a pg, then by leaving us without a moveable asset.

I wouldn't move him if it costs a pick, as it should. I think he can still play a role this year and hopefully build-up his rep around the league so he can be a nice contract to move later

if we can pick up dinwiddie, we can just let gabe rehab for next year. we just need one more competent ballhandler, imo.

 

Buha during his YouTube Q&A: He's heard he's supposed to be back within the next few weeks. Even then, he suggests tempering any expectations of his ability to contribute to an 8-9 man rotation due to the nature of the injury.

 

There needs to be some kind of new rule created because of us getting screwed royally two seasons in a row by the same Franchise. If it were anyone else, but us, there would be.
In a fair League, Miami would have to surrender a pair of second round picks for this.
An entire season was lost for Nunn and so far, 75% of a season lost for Gabe.
We know it wasn’t planned by Riles, but because it’s such a rare thing that probably won’t happen many more times in the future, asking for some kind of rule isn’t so far fetched.

 

Nah, why should Miami be penalized. Both injuries happened to those guys after they were gone. Nunn banged whichever bone it was to create the horrendous bruise after he was here. And if Vincent had had the "effusion" on his knee there he wouldn't have been able to perform in the playoffs at the level he did. Riley tried to re-sign him, just at a considerably lower price than we offered. Total coincidence IMO that it happened back to back and twice from the same franchise.

can't see the upside to him coming back at this point unless dlo or dinwiddie gets hurt. we already saw ham give him the prince treatment prior to the knee issue.
