That's the best defense he played since the Clippers game where was "top locking Kawhi" and shuttujg him down.

They're about to go 4-2 on this road trip (exceeded my expectations) and according to Cranjis, the Lakers gave the 4th easiest schedule the rest of the way. I predicted 1-5 and they made me eat my words. Let me have it.

    Good game, Kang.

    you are easily pleased

show a guy catching some air or some finely toned calves, and you practically lost control of your bowels.

Bron is funny sometimes. I’ll always be grateful for what he did for this franchise, but at some point we have to look at a future beyond him as well, and if we can get a star in the summer to pair with AD with 3 available picks rather than getting a borderline all-star now for the only one we have, it may be wise to wait. That’s better than an all out rebuild, the Lakers don’t do rebuilds very well, like we as fans aren’t patient enough for that for more than a handful of years. If LeBron wants to go to NY this summer, that’s fine, that’s his 50 mil off the books, nothing lasts forever

if he wants to go to ny, he'll have take a huge pay cut or they'll have to trade us useful players in an opt-in and trade.

anunoby's cap hold is like 30 million-ish, which more than offsets fournier's money (assuming he's not moved for salary, which i think he will be).

the knicks basically won't have any cap space this summer in any scenario i can imagine.

the only real threat for lebron to walk is philly. unless he's truly willing to play for nothing, in which case i'd like to know why he didn't do that here.

Or .... because of Jeanie's penny pinching the Lakers no longer have enough towels of their own to take on the road?

When they start showing up with towels from the hotel, then we know we're in trouble. Or robes from the Beverly Palm.

Haha, I mean yeah, I thought it was a bit of a stretch from Windhorst, but then he did used to be LeBron’s personal reporter, so I thought there’s a chance it’s coming from LeBron through him. I also saw that Bron posted on IG or something that the Garden is his “favorite playground”, so it did feel like maybe some messages were being sent by him. It is the trade deadline after all, wouldn’t be a LeBron team without him wanting moves to be made, good or bad that is a thing with him. Again though, I’m grateful to him for choosing us when we were looking very bad as a franchise, and if the run ends this offseason, well, while it wasn’t always successful it was never boring.

Bron is definitely doing any and everything to push for action.

I think he's the most calculated player in the league, so maybe the towel and the Knicks colorway pre game fit were to get the heads talking (and Prince is a sheep), which will lead to another pre/post game question which will allow him to be cryptic or throw shade at Ham which keeps the story in the news cycle and continues to be the best way he thinks he can publicly pressure them.

I think he likes this team and don't think he'd get rid of many of the guys, just doesn't like how Ham is using them just based on how he's directed his comments on performance. If I had to guess what he would do: move DLO, Prince, and any draft pick or swap he doesn't think he'll need to draft Bronny. DLO because it's our best most movable asset where an upgrade can be made. Prince because Ham can't help himself and Ham isn't going anywhere this season.

The more important headline from Windy this AM was this one

I went into it earlier but I think money, legacy, LA, and school all keep him here till the end. Doesn't mean he'll go through the season as a happy camper if he doesn't like the direction things are going. Nor should it.

I’m thankful for Dr. Buss building the best Franchise in the NBA- one that some “stars” choose to come to over the others because of what it means to be a Laker.

I do not think LeBron is getting traded before the deadline. But this worries me. The Knicks made sense as a possible destination for him (good team with pieces to trade, big market) but the Leon Rose/Rich Paul, Klutch/CAA beef made that a non-starter. It concerns me that this meeting happens for no apparent reason simultaneously with LeBron's cryptic time's up tweet thing. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I think we need to keep an eye on this.
