    Bingo, a couple second rounders, and overseas crap, great deal! He's not great but on par with Asik, Lopez ect...and an expiring deal. feel much better about the team now!

    Maybe it's just because my expectations had gone so low and I was seeing us starting Sacre or crawling back to Jordan Hill for MORE money than he was already making with us, but I have no issues with this deal. Mentally weak, sure, but there's no expectations of winning this season, it's a season to develop the rookies. All he has to do is pull down rebounds, block some shots, and catch alley-oops from Russell and Clarkson. If he's a good locker room guy and enjoys playing with some enthusiastic young guys, even better. If he gets a confidence boost and goes back to being close to a double-double guy, great. Again, we've got nothing to lose, one year rental, probably the best C left to get, and we still have a little money left for one more decent player. I'm more excited to watch this team play now than I was last night, I'll take it.

    4.6 million left to spend, Room exception left. I think we have 3 needs left to fill if we were trying to contend.

    I have Russell and JC starting (Unlike above), but I think we need 2 more wing players and backup PF. At this point though, I think it would be smart if the Lakers put all their remaining cap into someone like KJ and let the young guys fill in the other spots.

    Another email needing to be sent from LB to Lakers staff, just to make sure, that they don't overlook that.

    Speaking of..... where's Punk? Did he get the email sent off for them to check into Ron Ron's therapist for Upshaw? Possibly even Panda himself to spend some time with the guy. That, seriously, should happen. Ron would be great with him.

    This is exactly what I want. KJ McDaniels with our remaining cap space. I have a bad feeling that Rondo may be in the cards now though. That 4.6 million looks like just about the right amount for him and the front office may do it to do a mini-placate to Kobe Bryant. Hopefully we use it on McDaniels though.

    I like this move very much. Been coveting this guy for a few years now even with his regression. Here's to Hibbert regaining some of his form and helping to stop us getting raped in the paint.
