Sorry but I am not trading DLO for Dejounte esp if we're giving up a first round pick.

If it's DLO/JHS/2nd's that is fine.

But honestly, I'm also fine standing pat. Somethign tells me Dejounte puts on a Laker uniform and he suddenly forgets how to shoot.

Also would love nothing more than to see DLO light up the Clippers tonight without LeBron.

Talk about a statement game...lighting them up and beating them without LeBron..while the trade rumors continue to persist around him...ice in his veins

Am not that familiar with Murrays game, can he ran our offense or is he a score first guard.

Also how can he adjust to Bron handling the ball like he does.

He can do both. He scores and facilitates.
He's playing with Trae so it shouldn't be a problem. He's an upgrade on Dlo in regards to consistency, defense, higher ceiling and current floor

Not a fan of Dejounte - not a good fit next to LeBron/AD and 100% he's gonna forget how to shoot when he gets here like everyone else.

His defense has slipped a lot too - that's the biggest problem I have with this.

I get giving up just DLO for him but attaching a pick and our 2023 1st round pick (who is a BUST but still)....idk that feels like overpaying.

BUT from an asset management perspective - I do think Murray is a better trade chip for us in another trade if we're trying to go for say Donovan Mitchell in the summer...

And yes - DLO is a risk of opting out and we get nothing for him - so I do understand the Lakers looking to move him from an asset management perspective given Murray is locked in for more years at a reasonable clip ($28.5M on average over the next 4 years).

Age wise - he's the same as DLO (27 years old)....but i think he's pretty much at his ceiling and won't be getting much better than what we're seeing.

I think another problem I have is that will Darvin play Dejounte in the right positions? Will he play him with the right guys?

Yes. Looks like we will barely or not make the playoffs anyway we should just acquire players we can trade easily

DLo ran out of gas and dude needs to protect the ball (stop the dumb TOs in tight games) but I love the fight he's putting up.

I really hope they trade Rui to get another guard. You can make DLo into a strong plus if you got a good backup guard who can take over when needed

We are we acting like DLo is even going to choose to come back this summer?
He’s gone whether or not he gets traded.

Come on Kareem we now know for certain from the reports that Dennis wanted to start, and is desperate to claw back some of the money he lost by turning down the Lakers offer a couple years ago. He knows as a bench player it's not worth that much salary wise. So the Lakers didn't drop the ball here. I still feel from what I have seen from Gabe that if he is healthy at some point he would be the next closest thing. They knew Dennis wasn't coming back, and I bet it influenced the pick of JHS too, needing another guard for the future.
