Pretty much agree Nick and Slick, Reaves need to play off the bench where he was killing it but Ham just seem to don’t know what works at this point in the season and his obsession in overplaying Cam and Taurean ad nauseam

There are many reasons as to why he’s become the “golden boy.”
The dude is a real baller. Does he have flaws? Yup, just like every other good and even great player does.

the more i think about it and see (parts of) games, the more i think the mishandling of the dlo situation--starting in the summer--was the end of the season. if all we were going to do was trade him, just keep beasley or bamba for the salary slot (or try to s&t him for an expiring). i get that we couldn't foresee gabe's demise (and that was some very bad luck, given our roster construction), but if lebron was going to push for dlo to be traded all year and ham was going to just flat out insult him by going with like, cam reddish at the point, you knew chemistry was going to be a mess. which has undoubtedly hurt his trade value anyway.

if you're going to sign someone to a contract solely to trade them, don't make it a two-year deal! we had bird rights. we could have signed him to one-year, 30 million, and all of sudden, you can move him and gabe's corpse for a lavine and not lose anyone you're playing or wish to keep. but that would require getting our salaries to within 30 million of tenants, which is forbidden.

i'm annoyed. i guess i was naive enough to think that the second year on dlo's contract meant he was going to be given a shot. they pulled the plug in december without ever having tried our successful lineups from last year. boo.

This is one of the reasons I didn’t think he should be back over the summer.Im sure they tried to move him but obviously no takers and with the way they have devalued him even more isn’t helping that process.Games like last night put a spotlight on how desperately they need a real PG

The root of all problems is obviously coaching and motivation.

It’s quantum computing to Ham obviously. Un ****ing fathomable he has not done it once in the month Vando has been back.

But apparently the roster is "like a Rubik's cube" according to Ham. It's just so hard to figure out.

Yeah, it's not talked enough that our star duo has been healthy. There's no excuse for Ham. We've had injuries but on the supporting cast. We're deep enough not to be a huge problem barring a handful of games.

It's ridiculous he doesn't start last year's lineup. Basketball can be that simple. They built some chemistry, maybe it even gives them flashbacks of before and they regain that confidence. Just stop overthinking it man

start the same guys, run the same offense, etc. the injuries have sucked, but the've mostly been to secondary guys. when we had neither dlo nor gabe available, i give ham a pass--we're screwed in all such games. but reaves, AD, and lebron have been there for all this crap.

I guess we are missing Lonnie, Malik and Dennis, more than we thought we would.

well, we don't miss the version of malik we had.

and i wonder with ham changing offenses whether the continuity with lonnie would have helped at all.

we do miss dennis, but again, i'm pretty convinced that was his choice. toronto gave him a higher short-term salary than we could and a starting spot.
