He would get those looks if he hit 38% of his 3’s instead of 29%.Horfords teammates have confidence in him so he gets those looks.Woods teammates do not so he doesn’t.

The Lakers 3pt curse is real too tho, but It's the looks he's getting IMO. The guy is a rhythm shooter, he's avg double digit shot attempts over the last 3 seasons. He's getting 5 now, he was avg 4-5 3pt attempts alone, before he signed.

He's in a different role here, but that role can change as we go along. He's 3/8 in the last two games, were he got decent minutes. The problem is, If Rui is playing well, he's not going to get a lot of run at 4.

Wood can hoop tho, he'll get more opportunities soon, probably in the next game. Lebron might sit.

the point about volume correlating with percentage is real (and i've discussed before that the causation probably goes both ways to some degree). but this has been the issue with wood, too--when you give him the time to become efficient, your team doesn't win. now, is that causal from his direction? i don't know. but it really seems like it at this point. if he can't succeed here, where is it that he can? what's the role? who are the other players? he needed to fit in this time.

It would be different if Rui wasn't here. You can't succeed if you don't play. Too many other options at his best position 4. We got Lebron, Rui and Jarred we can play at 4. I still think the AD playing more 4, was straight CAP by Rob and Darvin myself. Add him to the mix and Wood is the lowest of priorities for this team. The back up bigs, seemed to be the lowest priority from the jump. Hence two PF masquerading as 5's that we went out and signed.

Wood would avg double digits right now on a lot of teams. Would they win? It depends on who else they have. Look at Kuz..putting up career highs in Washington. Balling his a** off, and they've won 5 games.

If Lebron or AD got hurt and missed a lot of games, Wood would be important, however I pray to God that doesn't happen. I still like Christian tho, but role is an important part of the equation. I said when he signed..Great value at that price, but a 218lb PF playing the 5? I guess if you just called him the 5 when playing with AD.

He’s obviously here for his offense and rebounding. He had an opportunity to impress at his strength but only succeeded at rebounding.I think he will get another opportunity but we’ll see

He needs to pla over Hayes. No excuses from Ham on this. Hayes has provided exactly ZERO for us. Get wood in there please

Nice to see Wood get some burn. Importantly in my opinion, he plays well with Lebron especially. Also pretty well with AD. I feel like we should go big at times with him.

I do support that idea. Man can play. Find some minutes for him, he's been very professional.

Thawed out from the DNP end of the bench and had himself a game. Shot was falling for once, which was great to see.

He did get cooked on D either his first or second trip down, thought we were in for a long night but cleaned it up enough not to be a liability.

Ultimately, he's better then Hayes. Not sure if there's something we're not seeing in practice or film study that's giving Jaxson those minutes or what's the deal there. In games we use one of AD's backups he should get a look. That said, neither are the solution or good enough to man that spot. Still hoping for better in a mid-season trade.

Played reasonably well in his 13 minutes.Hit two 3’s in the fourth in a close game.5-5 from 3 in his last two runs.If he keeps doing that he will get time on the floor because Vando can’t score at all or Hayes.

Finally getting vindicated for advocating for him so much. This is what I'd thought the Lakers were getting

Great activity level tonight. Aggressive on the glass, gave some rim protection and wasn't the black hole offensively that he tends to be (for better or worse)

Wood plays well with Vanderbilt, Darvin should take notice of that.

A breakout straight outta doghouse. Nice to see the shout out from AR (seems like a little bit of shade cast on the ham).

Positive to see that he took an opportunity and grabbed it constructively rather than pouting and tearing things apart (the insert name here method).
