practice an offense to what hamhock is expecting of cam/vando, if they actually practice a system that ham wants maybe those 2 arent just standing around

"hit your shots", "play faster", "need to cut and attack"....not really coaching just stating stuff that should be addressed during practice

The Offense hasn't been an issue at all. The shots have there in abundance IMO

so what is the problem, this shouldn't be a sub .500 team, switching lineup to this cam/vando didn't improve the defense either n how exactly is offense not a problem? they lost 1st n 3rd qtr in consistent basis

The lineup change is 2 games old. OKC and Boston aren't exactly bottom feeders. Not sure about your fuzzy math..we aren't playing sub 500 ball. The damn game is 4 quarters long isn't it? You are just flailing around man,.This is the best 2 game stretch from 3, that we've had in a long time. It's definitely not panic time by any means .

so you dont know then? if offense so great how are they consistently down in the 1st qtr of almost every gm so far? this is sub .500 since the play in tournament, better?

Meh..You are all over the place man. 1st the new lineup sucks on offense, but the offense looks damn good in these two games. Then it's well why haven't they done blag, blah, in the 1st quarter all season? Shrug.. for different reasons, but they only just started using this new lineup, so it's not the source of that particular issue, and the game is still 4 quarters long.

Let's see how the next 3 or 4 games go. Some folks hated Austin going to the bench, both he and the team played better IMO. D'Angelo could have a similar response, we shall see.

yeah, it takes time...but i still think not even looking at the lineup that won in the latter part of last season is pretty weird. it's a very defensible move. and if he goes to it only AFTER we like, lose to charlotte at home, it's going to look like panic instead of logic.

the O and D are ranked dead last since lineup change (not sure how any team with AD can be dead last on def with that change), they beat okc cause bron was on fire not cause of lineup change.....seems like theres no issue to you just like Brick wasnt the problem last yr right?

Here's what I don't understand: it's not not lineup change, it's the scheme and philosophy change. We went from a physical, aggressive, attacking defense that crushed it in the IST to a switching, passive defense.

If you want to try Vando and Cam together in the starting group, I don't think it'll work, but I'm fine with getting it on tape for 5 games. But changing what worked and going away from the strengths of your defensive players does not compute for me. It also puts AD in a position he's less able to get back to the paint as a help defender. Scheme change seems like a major fail here.

Reality is Ham is a disaster as a head coach. He has done little of what he said to get hired. Team would play hard every night, defense first, accountability. Nope, nope and heck no. His naming of DLO as a starter before he earned it was idiotic. He is bad at x's and o's, rotations are whacked, he doesn't recognize the talent he has or how to use it. Defensive schemes aren't even good. He is finally trying to put defense first like he said he would from the beginning, but he doesn't know or can't coach rotations. We have good defenders, but we are usually smoked and fighting uphill after the first quarter. Team isn't motivated. I haven't got to see as much of the games as I would like because of work (maybe this is to my benefit) so I don't know about this, but Trevor was saying this morning players are starting to grumble about how they are used and don't know what their role is supposed to be. I don't agree with Trevor often, but he has more insider info than I do so I will trust him with this. We have no identify, nothing to hang our hat on. We win games when Lebron is feeling good enough to have a monster game. We have the talent to overcome Ham's deficiencies if the players are motivated, but they don't seem to be. If we can somehow hang in there till the playoffs Lebron will turn it on and guys that don't know better will all the sudden think Ham is a great playoff coach, he has been redeemed, I told you so's will be spewed in every thread...lol. For the team's sake, I hope Ham can figure it out but so far there is no indication of that.

See? Now that's a straight up lie man. How in the f*** could this team be dead last in offense, avg 122 pts and shooting 45% from 3? This is the type of crap, I'm talking about with you dude, you just totally make s*** up! That's utterly ridiculous.

Yeah..we were 5 games under 500 this time last season. That's indicative of the terrible job he's doing. Nonsense

We are 1-1 in 2 games against the best team in the NBA, and 3rd place team in the Western Conference. That's a bit dramatic don't you think?

WTF is 18 minutes? That is the epitome of fishing for something negative to chirp about. Yeah miniscule sample size means ..some BS that I'm about to put out FYI. Nah..I'm not feeling the Flippers former beat writer's attempt at throwing up a silly a**, bs stat as shade. NOPE f*** Buha..he's a damn Laker hater.

Did he mention the Lakers shooting 45% from 3 with volume in these two games? f*** no, hasn't threw that out once.

The opponent doesn't change how we're playing stylistic. Might change the success/failure of the actions, but the actions themselves are a bad idea for this team.

And no, especially when we're already running an offense that is a bad fit for this team -- the 5 out. Running a bad offense AND bad defense is a recipe for disaster. Sprinkle in an inexperienced coach who doesn't know how to make in game adjustments and I don't think it'll go well against teams we can't overwhelm with Bron and AD's talent.

FOH. Same coach went through two rosters with inconsistent availability from Lebron and AD, and still got to the Western Conference Finals. So the coaching staffs in Memphis and Golden State just sucked worse? That's a foul a** low blow assessment LT. YOU are better than that, some folks I get it, but YOU know this game man. Again how bad could the offense be, if we are avg 120pts and shooting 45% from 3 on 32 attempts? That is pure CAP. DUH..some things might look different, when you play against a good team. Two games? Lol..sometimes you jump the gun with the madness too.

I was hoping that Hamster would naturally improve over time.
