    A Penberthy shout out!
I would have gone with Kendall Marshal, but Mike was a solid choice!

or watch his man dunk on his teammate?

just sayin' there's a LOT more to the game, and a guy with whitmore's obvious natural talents slipping like he did is unlikely because everyone was just dumb. reminds me of oubre a bit, actually. who also slipped and should have.

my very premature guess is that jhs probably disappoints fans, but no more than all the guys selected around that spot in this draft.

it's going to be sorta fun watching the respective careers unfold. they are kind of polar opposites in many ways.

I guess JHS has more of a chance to stick to an NBA roster with his willingness to play the team game

Feel that Draymond suspension helped make them use him more. But let's be honest, he'd shoot a lot worse with us.

Forget about Cam Whitmore... Jacquez has really jumped out of the gate for the rookies not named Holmgren and Wembanyama. I don't think anyone could've imagine the guy would be this good this fast, but looks like he has basically modeled his game from Jimmy Butler.

I feel this pick would've made more sense given that Jacquez is older and more ready to contribute to help out our stars than JHS? Unfortunately, given our circumstances, it's a bit hard to let JHS have his run, but with Vincent crippled, he needs to help out.

But, Miami must be giving these dudes steroids or some crazy PEDs because he would be crippled with us lol.

yup. jaquez would've made far more sense for this team given they're in win now mode and he was NBA ready, compared to JHS who is a project

yeah, don't see jaquez getting prince's minutes here. he's not outplaying reaves. what's left after that? we just signed rui and vando for 30 million-plus at the sf/pf spot.

another pg or a center would have been the most useful draft picks. but again, i don't think podziemski instead of jhs has us winning any games we've lost.

I just think at 17 you take the best player available, and I don’t understand how that was JHS having seen him play. We have 1 PG right now and the kid can’t get a single minute. Hell he looked like he was struggling in garbage time minutes, and that’s a bad sign to me when the guys taken after him aren’t just handling the league ok, they’ve already found consistent roles and are helping their teams win. I haven’t even heard anything out of the G-League regarding JHS like we have say Castleton, is he hurt? Why is he not down there putting up big stats? Of course we can’t fully judge for a few years, but at the moment it very much feels like a miss, pretty much everyone taken before and around him are producing now.

Well, Podziemski is currently starting for the Dubbs and looks to me like a real rotation piece. We can’t say this for at least one season from now about JHS.
