absolute killer, as we spent big on him as dlo insurance/schroder replacement. i really think not having another pg has been a worth few losses already.
What did Riley do? Take a crowbar to these guys on their way out the door? This is rough because it affects the DLO trade packages. You have to get some level of PG back, because there's no Gabe to fill that void.
it's kinda the end. weird how a seemingly peripheral piece could matter this much, but it's clear that the coaching staff and management said we needed to invest in ballhandling guards who were respectable shooters and defenders, put our eggs in two baskets, and one basket broke immediately. not mad at vincent, either. my guess is he probably should have had surgery in september, but he didn't want to be nunn II. same with vando. i think fans will be quick to jump on these guys, but both probably had season-ending injuries and wanted to play to prove they weren't wastes of money. doesn't help us fans any, but i think we can refrain from assailing their characters.
The way this goes... he'll have surgery then come back in 3 months instead of 2. Not his fault though, I feel bad for him.
DS was an Ironman. Need to hear the inside story on this one as I think this team would have won 5 more games easy of DS was still on the team. He was a great fit
I disagree with this abeer. If it was a one year contract, yeah maybe but he got a 3 year deal. So his “bag” is safe. As it stands now, he’s going to waste most of a season when he could have been playing by now. So I am not giving him the same leeway as you.
no, what i mean is that he was trying to play through pain (likely because he had secured the contract), but it would have been wiser to just get the surgery earlier. maybe i'll be wrong, and it will really only be 6-8 weeks; i'm just really skeptical given the nature of the injury so far.
