He’s Ham’s favorite player, regardless if Prince is hitting his shots. I think it’s just something we will have to live with while both are here.
I like Prince, but the amount of burn he gets on this deep team is wild.

I've been down on Prince, but it's great to see him finally hitting his threes more like his career percentage. Good stuff from him lately.

Those splits are wild. Thrilled he's regained his 3 ball. Still think we need to drop the minutes when everyone is fully healthy.

It’s weird having legit 3 pt shooters on the team. Even Bron is hitting a healthy clip

Yeah, this is so much better. As long as he continues to shoot like this, he needs to start, because we need more reliable players who can stretch the floor out there. Reaves is doing better too actually. That horrible 3pt shooting percentage is slowly starting to go up. Maybe we'll shoot league average by the end of the season.

3 for 13 in 39 minutes. Yikes. Ham’s love affair with Prince knows no bounds.

39 minutes for prince when vando and rui are both available is weird to me. prince is a 20-24mpg player.

There's no justification for this one. He wasn't hitting his 3s and he wasn't locking down Brunson, Randle or Quickley. Vando and Rui combined played fewer minutes than Prince. Ham's lost his damn mind.

Rui needs more minutes plain and simple. We need to get back to how he played last year, post trade deadline.

I feel people haven't been watching Rui play this year and think he's the same guy as the playoffs.
His shot selection has been awful and the Lakers are getting killed on the glass when he is in the game.

This is not a defense of Prince who clearly is a 7-8th guy in a playoff rotation not a top 5 but Rui's play is the one reason Prince has been getting a lot of minutes

I think there's multiple factors going into that.
-The 5 out changes his spacing and looks some (Still think that's an awful offense for this group)
-Couple injuries he's worked himself back from requiring him to find his rhythm again.
-The Bron and Rui minutes have been much less than expected. With how well they did last year together + the fact that Rui shadowed Bron all summer, I expected to see them together more not less.
-The bench units lack a point guard so he's getting the ball in the best situations.

Ham needs to maximize his talents and he's not. Instead he's trying to ramp Prince up to 48 minutes a night.
