I maintained the other day that most often the sub par scoring games are not from lack of effort but the short Js which he can get at any time, and bunnies not going in. Yeah last night especially they looked good and were dropping, plus BOOM and BOOM 2 3s in a row before a miss to make it 3 in a row counting the last game.

If you only saw the 2nd half you missed the moment early in the game that looked like a 2-3 week injury. He came down past the base line after a leap and didn't land on a foot but rolled his ankle badly. The replay was brutal .... close to 90 degrees. Don't know how he kept going after that. I don't think (?) he even went to the locker room at that time to get it re-taped. But it was ugly and he was on the ground in a lot of pain for awhile. Heart attack time for fans.

yeah, i heard about it. and actually my gimpy comment was about the ankle. he's still moving funny from that hip/groin/whatever thing he's had going on, imo.

it's funny because i've got my own groin issue currently (no, sirron), and that's why i can sort of recognize it in his movements. like you can move, and it doesn't hurt that bad, but you know you shouldn't be doing this...

    edit: wasn't about the ankle.

yeah, i said it the last time he was out--his plus/minus within games is partly a function of the fact that the coaching staff throws him out there with its least workable lineups because he's good enough to not get killed with them. it shows up as a minus in the box score when in reality, it would have been doubly bad without him. as we've seen in the two games (and the half of the other game) he missed.

Cripple anchors the defense, but he left his 40 year old highest mileage athlete ever to hold things down in his absence. Selfish SOB. It's just an ankle. You have ANOTHER. Geez.

A great performance by AD today vs. Minny wasted by Pimple.

So happy to see his mid range game return! He is unstoppable when this, along with his inside game are on.

He has been a monster. Shame he didn't have help at all today on offense.

Need him dropping 30 every night. No excuse. LeBron done more than enough heavy lifting, it's AD's turn and he has to turn it up right now when team needs him most.

He's been a beast this year and has returned to all star form - but gonna need him to dominate every single night for us to have any shot
