If the Lakers get close to the best record, why shouldn't he win MVP?

Is there a in season tournament MVP?

LeBron James just had the quickest 30-point game in Lakers franchise history.

    30 points

    8 assists

    5 rebounds

    0 turnovers

    On 9/12 FG, 4/4 from 3.

23 minutes of action and had the game essentially put away in the first few minutes of the third quarter.

He's doing alright. Maybe he'll do something like an "Uncle Bron" basketball flick 20 years from now.

The IST is great because it allows a chance for casual fans to watch young superstars like Tyrese Haliburton and LeBron James.

Unreal. Vegas Bron is built different.

He downplayed the significance of this game in his post game interview, but the game, stage, and venue mattered to Bron. He set the tone and pace for the game. Then put it away in the second quarter. You read that correctly.

Got plenty of rest. Can enjoy the city and be crisp for the Pacers on Saturday.

I think I've run out of superlatives for this guy. That was simply unreal tonight. No one else could have possibly done that in year 21. Well, no else has done it at any age, period. Just ridiculous.

This is a really impressive game for a MVP front runner in the prime of their career. It's near the top of the season highlight reel. Bron is weeks away from his 39th birthday. With 4 zillion miles on his body. It's unreal. This will not be repeated. Like I've said before, hate him or love him, at least appreciate it for the sake of the sport.

This is why he’s my favorite player. Nobody should question that again.

Incredible what he’s doing this season.
Even if you don’t like him off the court, you gotta acknowledge we have never seen a dude who should have already been retired do this.

Hating Lebron at this point in his career is just stupid. Maybe you don't like some things about him, but how can you look at his complete body of work and not appreciate him?? We are witnessing something that may never be done again. It has never been done like this.

Every time Bron does some crazy s**t like that, I can't help but think of therealdeal, who was the first one to suggest Bron may come and was very enthusiastic about it from the get go, unlike many of us (myself included). I would enjoy giving him his props as well, he saw the light much sooner than I did and I have rarely eaten crow with such enthusiasm as on that one.

He is and typically does score in a tremendously efficient manner with NOT a lot of shots taken. But LOL in the also typical what have you done for the team in the last 2 minutes and not being “perfect” ALL the time “manner” in Game Time against the Suns there was a sequence with him having to lose a defender on the right side of the 3 point circle with the clock running out and he headed for the right side mid range to put up a tough kind of falling away shot that missed but definitely wasn’t a clank. LOL and someone hammered him with the obligatory “chucking” blast.

    :Nope:

Old Grandpa is on his last legs, but hopefully by having a deep squad, he can limp into the playoffs semi-healthy.
21st season. Crazy. Vino 2.0? Kobe would be proud of him.
