He'll never get in because he's the NBA version of Curt Flood. The NBA wouldn't let him in after 2 years of college, so he went to the ABA. He filed an anti-trust suit against the league and eventually won. However, fans hated him, oftentimes spitting on him and routinely booing him during games.
