He's not a 30+ minute a game player. I think everyone would benefit from his minutes getting dropped to the 18 minute range. When everyone's healthy, there is no reason he shouldn't find himself in that range.

i intentionally missed the game but read that we put prince on maxey. i mean, how many times does prince have to fail at defending ballhandlers before we stop with it? that's not his fault, and i get that dlo is a bad defender, but at least it isn't both a cross-match AND a mismatch.

Normally that will tell me if a person is a “shooter” or not and I quite frankly cannot recall one for him. Every single one (of his makes) seemingly rattles within the rim or hits the back of the rim, never in the swish variety. In contrast, you saw tons of DLO’s 3s tonight happen in the pure swish form, we all know he can shoot.

His three ball is on an uptick but man . . . he only put up 6 points in tonight's loss in 32 minutes. On the season he's sitting at 8.7 points a game in 30 minutes, 41.5% overall shooting, 32% from three. Not good. His career averages are 10 ppg, in 24 minutes and 37% from three. I just think he should be more impactful once our other guys are healthy (Rui and Vando) and he's coming off the bench. I get that he has to play now. But it's not pretty.
His stat line last night Tied his season high with 6 boards. Where is that effort on the glass consistently? Really glad he's getting it together and looking more like the shooter he guaranteed he'd be.
Why the f*** did you close the game?... no seriously? Give me Vando, Rui, Max or any combo of those 3 in the final 6 minutes. I get working them back in and they didn't have great stat nights but they made contributions out there.
Prince was thoroughly awful. I mean he didn't s*** the bed in the fourth so I guess that was an improvement
To be fair, and I've been tough on Prince, but he had some decent defensive plays down the stretch. So I've got to give him that. But Vando would have been my choice for sure. Most of the rest of the time Prince was pretty awful so no way he should have been playing 27 minutes overall when you have Rui, Max and Vando available. Max had a nice showing.
