Sit him. Shouldn't need him to beat Memphis. It's the first night of a back to back. I'd rather possibly have him ready for the Kings game.

James (calf) was present during the Lakers' morning shootaround ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the Grizzlies, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Surprised unless he's 100% and the plan is to get a big enough lead where Bron can sit the 4th.

Lebron wants that inaugural tournament trophy..Something else to add to his hardware collection I guess

He's cheap (he won't even pay for the ad free version of Apple music), look how giddy he was when talking about the $500k after the last tourney win

He might be more driven by that than the trophy, plus I'm sure the league is encouraging every abled body to play in these tourney games.

Looks like the injury cleared up.

Best part: 23 minutes. Well rested for Sac Town.

It's kind of sad that's true. It's so rare we get a huge blowout, especially where we don't let the other team cut it to single digits

I looked at his minutes and efficiency, and I was extremely pleased, to say the least.

To me it just looks like LeBron is moving better than he has been the past couple seasons. I was expecting big things from him, and he is delivering. These versions of Lebron and AD, Austin coming around and, in my opinion, the best overall roster in the league makes it hard to picture anything but a championship. Admittedly, my Laker glasses filter out every other team at times...lol.

Lebron is still the best player on the team at 38. At first blush, that sounds concerning, but he's still considered to be top 10 in the NBA. Is that concerning for the League?

Talent level is ridiculous in the NBA but face of the league is a difficult thing to quantify. Jordan replaced Magic/Bird, league suffered without Jordan till the next gen guys finally took over. It is a concern that Luka can't win, Jokic doesn't really seem to care all that much about the NBA, and that Zion/Ja imploded off court. But now you have Ant, Wemby, so hopefully it won't be as bad as post-Jordan

    1) the foot is better
    2) he's taking fewer and smarter 3s for the most part, there's still the heat check 3 that usually misses

Also Deangelo handling the rock more means Lebron can catch and shoot which he's decent at. The dribble dribble step back 3 he's not good at.

So much for a "bad calf"!

LBJ was incredible again today. Unprecedented from someone who's 38.

Defense was not great, but he was toying with them on offense. Impressive outing. By far the best player on the court tonight.

He's playing at an MVP caliber right now which is crazy. He half assing it in defense and the glass so not prime Lebron and he's not a top 3 candidate but crazy that I'm not even joking about MVp consideration

What he's doing is just unreal out there on offense. In year 21? That's ridiculous.
