    Exactly. From that article above:

“Throughout his career, fans have clamored for James to play hero ball in those closing seconds, open shooters be dammed, but just like he did on Monday, James has consistently made the right basketball play over going for his glory.

“One thing about LeBron is, his whole career, he’s been killed for making the right play late games instead of shooting. That’s who he is and everybody’s not loved that about him but that’s who he continues to be and he trusts his teammates” Reaves said after the loss regarding James’ late-game decision-making. “As soon as he walked into the locker room, he dapped everybody up and went straight to Cam and was like ‘Nah, that’s a good shot. A situation like that happens again, we’re going to give it right back to you and you’re going to knock it down.’ That’s major. That happened to me in the past with LeBron. It’s just a sense of confidence, self-belief that he bleeds into you in moments like that.”

You can go through just James’ tenure in L.A. and find countless times he has gone with the open shooter instead of taking a contested shot. Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finalscomes to mind when a wide-open Danny Green missed the series ending three.

Or the 2021 first-round matchup versus the Suns, where a struggling Kentavious Caldwell Pope opted to pass an open three and James immediately went up to his and said, “I want you to shoot.”

Read the tea leafs. Don't blame him. He and Rui weren't going to be enough even if they both went for 30.

He was just about as putrid as everyone else tonight. He was no difference maker. Can't expect it every night, but it's clear he can't carry the load any longer consistently.

The rest of our highly paid players have to step up. Where's Pat Bev to get in everyone's grill lol?

Yeah..this was the 3 headed "3rd star" approach, type of game to shine. Rui answered the bell. Austin and D'Angelo were out to lunch with Lebron.

I'll chalk it up to just not our night, but games like this, makes me wonder, if too many guys have the green light on offense?

Played entire 4 quarter. Probably he'll get some rest vs Portland and Memphis

It's insane what he's doing at this age.

Nice to see him actually get some trips to the line tonight -- 11 FTAs

very efficient shooting numbers despite his one legged fall away crapshoots.

11-17 for 32 points. Hard to gripe about that.

It's who he is. He leads the universe in turnovers. But he also handles the rock alot.

I guess pointing out that the refs are idiots when it comes to giving LeBron calls has worked.
    Great game.
    Amazing at his age.

It's to be expected. Only great players are in the discussion for most turnovers ever and he has the most longevity of anyone.

He averages 3.5 turnovers a game for his career but now he's above 4 and he's playing pg even less than he has in the past. Just way more sloppy than usual. Especially the stupid one to Reaves when he should be able to see what's behind him.

But overall great game. His 2 man game with Reaves generated a lot of good looks in the fourth when the Suns kept doubling him.

Solid game. What more can we say about this guy? Outside of not wanting/not taking the last shot to end games and the difficulty to not compare him to Kobe regarding willingness to win, oh and maybe free throws….. this guy has it all.

Hopefully that limping was nothing. Please be nothing…

He was just amazing tonight. He and Cam share the game ball for the evening IMO.

Wonder if "pretty sore" will keep him out of the Portland game.
