They weren't even in contention until they picked up Tyson Chandler, why couldn't we do that.... Oh right.

I know the Spurs are the sexy pick for LMA right now.. BUT, this is what they're left with if he signs.

We needed a center regardless. Phoenix got Tyson then contacted LMA and he agreed to a meeting afterwards, we could have then dumped Young/Kelly/Sacre whomever to create room. Worst case scenario we are stuck with a player at a position we need.

If it was that easy it would have been done.

Phoenix has sign and trade potential with Dallas because they have assets Dallas wants in Markieff Morris.

Tyson is getting like $13 million a year from the Suns whether they sign him outright or they sign LMA outright and do the S&T for him w/ Morris going to Dallas.

And you have to find someone to take back Nick Young, Sacre or Kelly. Nick Young probably takes a draft pick attached to get someone to take him and we probably shouldn't be trading anymore draft picks at this point.

I feel like this is one of those scenarios like Melo and Phil last year, he was almost going to a different team but you meet up with him and you buy in to whatever he has to say.

And yet the Knicks moved on and have a decent looking roster right now.

I rather hit 3 doubles than 1 home run. We shouldve signed several guys already. Lakers are blowing it

The Suns becoming the number 2 option for LMA by using the selling points the Lakers should have used, but didn't, is one of the more embarrassing things to happen this offseason.

I hope the ridicule keeps coming as well. No excuse for this failure year after year.

If this turns out like i think it will... i hope dr patrick steps in and just buys the Lakers from the Buss kids. Hire some top notch professionals and save us from next year embarrassment. #overreacting?
