Max looks pretty darn good in the camp clips - able to finish thru contact and stay with Reaves off the dribble is exciting stuff.
If his shot goes down as well, it's going to put a ton of pressure on the vets

Max is a star in the making and it isnt going to take long. It was evident last season and even more so after the work he has put in. His demeanor, attitude, everything about him says he is coming. You are right. Vets better enjoy their time while they can.

we are already cued up for post Lebron, and I'm loving the job that Rob has done. Absolutely loving it. We are going to have a competitive team to watch every year.

...and James happens to be your favorite player. :) You will miss him when he's gone.

Yes, but who is on deck to be next?

I may be more excited about that. Will it be Kobe's son?

and truly, you have to admit, Lebron has become more likeable as he has gotten older.

It's worth taking a look at him with the starters. His game fits in well with them

he looked great to me; not sure if the stats captured it, but he was our best player outside of AD and dlo (honorable mention vando). needs to play consistent minutes.

edit: i thought he looked better than either kuminga or moody. so eat it, lacob.

Did he matchup with Kuminga at all? Missed it if he did - Kuminga was killing the Lakers the plays I did catch

no. i just mean i wouldn't trade him for either. kuminga's low iq and i don't believe in the three point shot he showed tonight. he got a few very favorable calls that turned turnovers into FTAs, too, imo.

i've never been a fan, though.

Max should start. Gives us the best chance to win now and in the playoffs.

Start at 3? Nah. Be the first SG/SF of the bench? Absolutely.

    Vando/Prince/Max
    AR/Max/DLO
    DLO/AR/Gabe

That should be the order of the rotation over PG/SG/SF spots, with may be some 3rd stringers being thrown here and there.

The fifth starter. Better overall player than the others and will keep getting better. Smooth, confident on offense, no weak spots to hide. One of our better defenders. Can guard 1-3 and some fours. Like AR, he just plays at a higher level, high IQ. IMO he should of got way more time last season. Star on the rise. We have many good players. From what I have seen, I like Max.

i don't like going small at the 3 when we're already a bit small up front. max needs the most minutes of the bench guards, though, and we'll have to find ways to play him or reaves at the 3 some to make it work, as i don't think ham will mothball gabe.

No, he won't mothball Gabe. I'm not real comfortable small at the three either for the same reasons you stated. I'm thinking Max is going to be a better rebounder than he showed last night. I just like his complete game on the court and I prefer him with AR, not subbing for him but all great points.

max is a very good rebounder. i feel like it jumps off the screen at you. if we were bigger up front, i'd be ok getting him minutes at sf.

maybe in lineups with both AD and wood on the floor.
