Dang, sorry Slick, your blah, blah, blah is the most intelligent comment you have made since you have been here and somehow I missed it. Keep up the good work bro. Thanks to whoever it was that pointed it out to me...lol.

Keep me on ignore. You wouldn't recognize an intelligent comment, even if it smacked you in the mouth.

No thanks, I missed your witty, inspiring posts. Actually, I do admire the way you stand up for your opinions and don't buckle to the pressure of the masses. We have that in common. I'm a firm believer that posting on sites can lead to misconceptions. You ever find yourself in AK I will grab a 12 pack of Alaskan ambers, smoke up some salmon, and deep fry some halibut. Hard to beat sitting around a campfire with a cold brewski, good grub, talking Laker hoops and watching the aurora.

I was lucky enough to spend some time in Alaska, got to combat fish on the Kenai. It was really cool. The best thing was, I stayed with a married couple who were friends with my "then girlfriend". The guy was really cool, he and I hung out and he so kindly warned me not to marry that girl, and boy was he right. LOL. The other cool thing about that visit was that everywhere we went, the sky opened up. He said that in all his years there, he had never seen anything like it. Like I was some kind of good luck charm. He said he saw clear skies in places that he had never seen any. Awesome trip.

You ever want to come back just let me know. We can always use a good luck charm for the weather...lol. The Kenai has turned into combat fishing for sure. The last time I drove through there were so many people lined up I'm not sure how they weren't hooking each other. One of my brothers lives remote. A float plane can drop me right at his door and I have a pristine river with few competitors. At least few two-legged competitors. The four-legged ones are gracious enough to share. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

That sounds awesome. Combat fishing was funny, for those who don't know, you can't use hooks with barbs, you get a single non barbed hook and you have to keep the pressure perfectly on the salmon to reel them in. Not an easy thing to do. The guy who took me had his limit within an hour or so, maybe less, it was really quick. I had a number of bites but ONLY caught one, and only when he finally came over and showed me how to do it. Then I was sure I had a 25 pound fish or greater, it turned out to be one 8 pound fish. LOL

Sounds like you are living the good life bud. I envy you now..cheers.!! Lol..You never know..I've been thinking about an Alaska trip for a few years now. https://www.akglacierlodge.com/?gcl...hxKrj_00H23783e5S94VIPMtnJ6lWHbxoCXCkQAvD_BwE

It's all good..we can continue to amicably disagree on certain things, along the way to this upcoming chip! We might be two of the more overly optimistic posters on this board.

There just isn't anyway to look at Max and the work he has put in and not be impressed. The guy must have lived in the weight room. His defense is going to be important to our success.

if you look at his interview, he looks like he put on a ton of muscle, and he talked about how he's trying to learn how to use it, mostly in terms of finishing through contact. a reporter asked him about whether it messes with your shot (good question, as it has for some guys, i think), but he claims he's been doing a ton of shooting work at the same time and thus it doesn't/won't.

i hope he's gone after the lower body with the same vigor, as i think part of what helps reaves are his big legs.

Yeah I liked his interview, he’s a very mature and smart sounding kid at just 20. All the interviews (except seeing you crack on JHS made me realize I haven’t seen his yet). We have a bunch of well spoken players for sure. Max’s legs looked proportioned fine in SL and agree on Austin, that’s a great plus for him.

The fight between the SF and back SG minutes is going to be intense between Vando, Rui, Price, Christie, and maybe Reddish.
Max looked big enough in summer league to play either the 2 or 3

Being good on both ends of the court should give Max an advantage on some. Just watching him, he is a smooth natural player. Like Austin he isn't afraid. That is a quality often overlooked. Hope you are watching coach in between all your interviews...lol.

The opportunity is in front of him. Is he ready for the spotlight? We shall soon see.
