Well if he already lives in LA too, that's even less incentive to play here. He plays for a better team in Portland but still gets to spend his summers here, win-win.

I'm so done with this...Lakers are either the stupidest team alive that can't take a hint or they are the smartest team alive and are going to pull something out of their hat for LMA and DJ. My thinking is this: the fact that LMA and DJ have NOT made their decisions yet probably bode well for us....maybe both are waiting on each other and maybe even seeing if they can play together somewhere....who knows...but there's so much in the air right now i'm really hoping it ends tonight or tomorrow so we can finally move on and lock up Koufos and Harris. IF we get tobias and koufos, I'll consider this a very very solid offseason that netted us 3 very important pieces that can potentially lead to an even bigger piece next summer...
If it were just the teams and the max offers it would be over now. There has to be trade talks going on in the background with one of the teams that could change the landscape. I'm hoping it's us.... as long as it isn't Cousins.
Yeah i mean it's kind of a no brainer for both DJ and LMA...why the HELL would DJ consider dallas now? They lost so many key guys...they're a fringe playoff team with an aging dirk and injury prone parsons....LMA should have been in San Antonio by now....why is he hesitant? And again...who exactly is playing CENTER in dallas?! Dirk?! I can see the Suns appeal but they're slightly better than Portland...only way LMA considers us is if we're making a trade to clear cap to have enough room to get him AND DJ....or were trading randle and others for Cousins...i duno...it just doesn't make sense otherwise....why is everyone wasting each other's time?
We could be working a trade for someone not even in the conversation as well. These things sometimes come out of left field. We can take on crap to help in cap relief. Could be a 3 way to clear space for someone else that also lands us the C we need to get LMA. .... or could be that they ARE the clowns they appear to be.
Sweet, can we forget about LMA and just focus on getting a supporting cast for our three future superstars?
Can the FO really be so ignorant that they don't see the writing on the wall? Can they legitimately NOT see that Aldridge isn't coming here? I mean there's hardly any FAs left, so it doesn't really matter at this point, but c'mon! Just let it go! Go get Harris and Koufos and get ready to make some serious FO changes.
