Dennis was definitely as good as Tyus Jones last year. He outplayed him in the playoffs. Hes definitely worth Patty Mills money just sucks Lakers are limited in what they can offer
i'm almost certain we'll offer him the highest exception we've got. i think he'll take it if the difference is 2 million (like the tpmle somewhere else), as we'll have his early bird rights after that and can give him a better raise going forward. but if someone shows up with a full MLE, he will (and probably should) take it.
I’d like to keep Schroeder, he is one of the best backup PGs in the league. Who else is better? Tyus Jones and Malcom Brogdon? Heck, if we land CP3, I’d like to keep him just so we could play them 24 mins each. It’s a decent enough rotation and could keep CP healthy or if not, Schroeder can start.
I mean…he’s got the lakers tattooed on his leg, right? That should count for a small discount at a minimum? Lol
If we are adding CP3, which seems likely, we need either Dennis, or another good defensive point to chase and bother the other quick PGs. Dennis has his flaws, but he still makes a difference on D more times than not.
Max ain’t a PG, and we have no idea yet in his ability to chase around the super quick PGs of the League.
Unfortunately that is old and is the house he bought and video he did the first time here. I remember referencing it with the little kids and his wife pregnant how insane she must have been when he told her he had turned down the “alleged” 4 years at 20M offer. And we started hammering him with the gif.
He just posted it 4 days ago. How old we talking? Is he that desperate to drum up interest in the house he's reuploading old videos? If so, he's more desperate for money than I thought.
Am almost positive. The kids were really small and she was pregnant again and that nice concrete with (glass) backboard hoop setup outside. Expensive home …. and then he ed’. I was imagining with that monthly payment and property taxes and all the little ones, how “that” conversation with her went. Would not however bet my life or my home on it.
I'd love to bring him back if the price is right. Can't believe I'm saying that but he really impressed me this time around.
He actually wasn’t bad last time, but he should’ve never been told he could have been the starter. But hey, we all have dreams. I think the big grief comes when you compare the salary demands with the performance. He’s better off coming off the bench and being well compensated for that role.
It's a good read, definitely check it out. Here's the portion pertaining to free agency Sounds like he's looking for a NTMLE split at the very least. ... we'll see.
i put my thoughts in the other thread, but i'm down with a salary starting at 7-7.5 assuming we don't use the full mle elsewhere. that leaves us with two 5 million dollar slots (competitive with most exceptions--bae/tpmle) to round things out.
