Yes unfortunately I think he is gone. Would have been nice to retain him, however he probably here the taxpayers MLE somewhere.

i think that valuation is high, but yeah, we can't afford him.

 

I’m not losing sleep over him. I’m happy he’s able to get more from the ‘prove it’ one year deal. Would be nice to have him from a continuity aspect but we can find a similar guy in FA/the draft. He’s the prototypical 3 and D player in today’s league. Except next year, I’d like to sign someone that can contribute in the playoffs lol

 

i hope he gets the tpmle somewhere so that we can nab another rotation-quality player on a vet min due to our recent track record of helping guys get money elsewhere.
