Bruce Brown might leave to get paid , he has a player option .

MPJ is getting 33 millions next season , 40 millions in 2026/2027 .

LMFAO , some of these contracts are DUMB

curious to see what brown's market could be this summer. i thought he was the best tpmle signing last year, and apparently he was. i never imagined that him signing with denver might have led to a title. imagine he's on our team and denver has...literally anyone else that could have been had for the salary last year. are we playing right now?

also, yes. not sure who was arguing with me a few pages back about mpj, but he's been as disappointing as poole was against us and russell was against denver. and like poole, he makes a ton of money that extends far into the future. he's also injury prone and largely topped out, imo.

I was thinking about Brown too. I think he gets 60 to 80 mil in 4 years by the Spurs. He's perfect for them.

MPJ is getting outplayed by him. He's a good example of what Dlo can be for us. You can win championships overpaying a guy who doesn't deliver in the postseason

Also, I don't get the hate with Denver. They are a great example of being great running a franchise, they play really well and have a good group while being a small market. They deserve the success and we just gotta be better

Read that players on OTHER teams used to have arguments who would be guarded by Cousy.

He used to and still can I guess, maybe, be a duche on the court, but seems for the most part now to not at all be a big look at me chest thumper / primal screamer out there as he makes huge shots and plays. Runs back up and acts like he’s been there.

Matured... Not being around or at full health the last two seasons grew him up some. Credited Bryant for who he is now, embracing the moments and taking on the challenges.

Yes, and Malone is an a**hat.

I think MPJ has been better than those two in the sense that he's not a turnstile on defense. He did make some nice cuts when his shot wasn't working.

I do agree, he's not worth 35-40m a year and it was very generous for Denver to give him that much considering his back problems and his foot drop. However, crazy to think he's still only 24 (younger than Rui/Reaves) and playing at this level despite the injuries.

That confirms what I was saying, I get that Miami won a game but our games were much closer against the Nuggets. All but one were single digit differences.

An injured main player and two previous tough series'? Gas was on E like Abdul-Jabbar said recently.

I see Dwight brought up a lot by some fans but he's done. He was done the third time we brought him back.

Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA history to record 500 points, 250 rebounds and 150 assists in a single playoff.
    Un f***ing believable
and once this playoff run comes to an end, Nikola Jokic will go down as the only NBA player in history to average a triple-double in the playoffs, as he's currently sitting at 30.5 points, 13.4 rebounds and 10.1 assists in 18 matches.

Yet he has won 2 MVP's, not this years, and should have won that!! Come on, this guy has been the most consistent player in the league for the last 3+ years.

If they played against us, like they play against Miami, we would be watching parade reruns right now...

sure! But it doesn’t mean it will translate into another title . Everything is just clicking for them this yr . I guess luck is residue of design . But I really don’t see a dynasty .

Every time that guy makes a shot he stares downs the crowd . He is riding that douchebag high right now . Good for him I guess. It’s just his 15 min of fame .

Edit : I guess every championship ball club needs its douchebag to keep the fire going .
