It's because the Nuggets aren't getting enough attention. How dare the draft be 18 days away. That's going to eat into their coverage. It's so unfair.
So, Spo decides to start KLove to give Bam extra cover in the paint for Denver’s huge frontcourt. Imagine that.
Spo is so good. He would have had Thompson in there bothering JOkic and setting hard screens from Game 1. Lakers not having an elite shooter hurts: those Duncan Robinson plays totally exposed Denver's defense.
We have elite shooters. We don't run anything remotely close to what Robinson was getting, play-wise. Malik didn't all of the sudden forget how to shoot. We never ran anything for him, in any way. EDIT: and some of the shots he took and made are literally the same shots AR takes and makes, if someone passes him the damn ball, instead of jacking it up from 30 feet.
...also why is Spoelstra getting all this praise for starting Love so Adebayo doesn't have to cover Jokic all game? Why is getting credit for that 3-2 zone and blitzing Murray to make him give up the rock? What's this all about limiting Jokic's assist total to 4? Malone thinks it's nothing new because he's a good coach that has come up with things whatever they are. It's so unfair.
Heat just did what Lakers failed to do, they took the lead and traded buckets with Denver to hold it Shame we never had a Duncan Robinson to hit those 3s in the 4th I really hope Miami can pull it off, nothing against Jokic but his coach, Murray and Brown piss me off
Nice win for the Heat. I was indifferent about this series but since Malone keeps running his mouth it would be nice to see them lose.
Jimmy deserves a ship... vindication for old school approach to the game. And a big screw you to Embiid, Harden, KAT etc...
This went up in twitter earlier today, not sure if it's from today or not. Doesn't matter. Maybe focus on your current series, chief.
spoelstra once again showed why he's the best coach in the league. that was a defensive masterpiece from the heat in the 4th
