C Bags don't have anyone who can contain jokic. he had no problem with AD and he certainly won't have any issues with horford or williams

Nuggets are way better in the clutch than the C-bags .

I think a lot will depend on how Jokic is "reffed" on both sides of the floor though .

I wouldn't be surprised if Miami won Game 7 either

C Bags will have played 20 playoff games if they make into the Finals. That's a recipe for gassing out later in the series against Denver. If I were Malone, I'd try to push the tempo and play fast.

the luck the C Bags are getting is ridiculous. that ball could have only bounced one way to get to white and of course it did

    Wow. What a game.
C Bags will win game seven and make history. Unfortunately for them, Joker will dominate them.
    Nuggets in 6.

    Knew it :(
I'll tell you more, DEN will choke in the Finals. All their role players (i mean everyone except Joker and Murray) will miss their shots. It will be nothing like against us. FML

yep. further-murray will stop hitting impossible shots, and they'll get waxed like we would have waxed them if he didn't career it.

If we had decent 3 point shooters the series against Denver would have been very different, C bags shoot well from 3.

They will tire out Jokic, unfortunately Denver lose in 5

So, who would you all have preferred to lose to, Denver in the WCF or Boston in the finals??

No doubt. I have more faith in Jimmy going balistic, scoring 50 and getting a W, than i have in DEN winning in the Finals :(

yep. this season reminded me of 2007-8 in some ways, and i didn't want it to end the same way. that was gross. i'll take what happened.

1% chance. boston's going to beat miami, then take denver pretty easily, imo.

boston only won on a basket with 0.1 on the clock despite butler/bam missing pretty much everything. they're not going to beat denver easily unless jokic gets hurt and misses the series

Denver's forwards are underrated: Both Gordon and MPJ are really big dudes who have a lot of skill. Think Boston is going to have more trouble as Denver on defense matches up pretty well with them. Boston has better defensive matchups for Murray though so it will be an interesting series.

Boston just doesn't seem all that well coached or smart vs a really good coach and smart team so I'd go with Denver.

I’m not at all assuming Boston is going to win tomorrow. Game 7s are usually ugly rock fights and Miami loves those games. I think Boston wins, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Miami pulls it out.

As for Denver, they’re really good but they’re getting a little overrated IMO. Simmons said on his podcast today that he thinks the Nuggets are the best team of the last 5 years (so since the 2017-2018 season). I think the 2020 team and last year’s Warriors are better teams. The 2020 versions of LeBron and AD dominate them in the paint and that team was much better equipped to guard Murray. Unfortunately, if it is the C Bags in the Finals I’d favor them slightly over Denver. The C Bags are unbelievably inconsistent but their best punch is still the best IMO.

An evil genie comes to me during the All Star Break and offers me a deal:

"I will make the Lakers season turn completely around. They will not only make the playoffs, but they will play in the Western Conference Finals."

"No way! You HAVE to be kidding me here, Genie. By the way, why the absurdly long scimitar? I'm not a threat to you. You're a damned Evil Genie, fer crissakes."

"I tried it on and liked the look. So sue me."

    "Okay...Yea, it looks pretty cool."

"There's another part of the deal..."

    "Here it comes...I knew it..."

"I will have your Lakers play in the Western Conference Finals. I won't ruin it for you and tell you if they win or not..."

"You had me at us going to the Western Conference Finals. I hope we beat the Clippers. You gotta realize, dude, this is all hard to believe. You said there's another part of the deal? Tell me. Shoot. I mean, how bad could it be?"

"The team from Boston - I know you hate them! just listen - they win it all. 18th championship. One better than your Lakers. Whattya say? Do we do this? It's up to you. You can take this or I have two pieces of Samsonite luggage as a second deal, no strings attached. You need some new suitcases? Bam! I give to you, gratis!"

"Lakers in the WCF, eh? And if we win that - maybe we knock off Memphis in the WCF?"

"I'm not at liberty to say."

"Oh hell. I know you have an impeccable track record and yet I find it hard to believe a Laker team with Westbrook can turn it around...You're laughing. Why?"

Genie (looks both ways to see it anyone is listening, whispers): "I have the Westbrook problem worked out."

"DONE! Let's do this! So the Bags win it all. I'm so tired of the Lakers sucking a**. I'll take you up on this proposition."

"Good doing business with you, my friend."

"But I didn't pay you anything."

"Oh, you'll pay..."(evil laughter...genie disappears into thin air with an audible POP)
