LMA is a top level FA. He's one of the few that is willing to move these days. Most of the time they travel around, eat good food and re-sign for the extra year with their original team. He is actually moving in his prime. This really isn't happening much these days. Our front office isn't the real issue today. They made the mistake 3 years ago. Hard to sell a guy wanting to win on a team of rookies and a guy who will be gone in a year over a legitimate shot next year for the same $$. If anything this is still the fallout of the Howard/Nash summer of fence swinging. Not getting a buy in from Howard and trading for a broken down Nash was a 5 year decision. Good young guys we hope. It will be frustrating at times watching them but if 2 of the 3 turn out we will be on the road anyway.
