the title suddenly looks very winnable if the C Bags get eliminated.

I’d love nothing more than for the C Bags to get knocked by the Sixers, but I still think they win in 7. They were in this exact same situation against the Bucks last year and they won Game 6 on the road and Game 7 at home. Doc has coughed up more series leads than any coach I think. It’s not over yet. Mazzula is a big downgrade from Udoka though, he seems pretty clueless.

wasn't expecting that philly win. i wouldn't call it over, but boston's bench looked sorta shook at the end. like they also expected to win this game and didn't know what to make of the loss.

Doc Rivers coaches philly so a Boston comeback is definitely possible.

He’s blown plenty of series before.

This 1 on 1 suns offense with no ball movement is to easy to defend. Reminds me of Harden rockets days

Jokic one of the best runs as a center I have seen. If he delivers a ring, he should be regarded as one of the great centers of all time, numbers are sick

Joker is already a top 10 center all time in my book.

    1. Kareem
    2. Russell
    3. Shaq
    4. Wilt
    5. Hakeem
    6. Moses
    7. Admiral
    8. Mikan
    9. Joker
    10. Ewing

He might finish as high as 7 on my list.

Ah, he deleted it. It was an older black and white photo of a large group of KKK members in full garb in a long line marching down the street. He had captioned it “C Bags fans spotted rioting in the streets after devastating game 5 loss”.

I think they would be easier to beat than Philly. Embid will give AD some problems. Not sure anyone on Boston could give AD too many problems. It would be sweeter to win another ring so historically, against Boston. All the ramifications of that would be more than awesome.

I am way more optimistic about Philly than Boston. AD will also give problems to Embiid on both ends of the floor, and they still have to overcome their coach and second best player. I will have to see a team built around Haren actually win something meaningful to believe it possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they still manage to lose to the C Bags.

As some have already mentioned, how awesome would it be if we got a repeat of the bubble finals? I was rooting for the Knicks in the east so far but since they are basically eliminated already, I'm switching to Miami and Butler. A very easy team to root for and the alternatives are both loathsome.

    Draymond podcast:

    (1) Started GP to “take D Lo out of the series. It worked.”

    (2) Wanted Bron to have to defend more and handle ball more to play heavy minutes so he would be tired “as the series goes forward.” It worked he said cause Bron played heavy minutes and needed Walker to close.

    (3) Wanted to put AD in pnr situations to tire him out and keep him from the paint while playing heavy minutes. It worked - again he said that Walker saved them and AD didn’t do much in the 4th.

Admits the game plan and feels confident because Bron and AD are getting tired and Ws won’t let D Lo go off again.

i'd argue that this team is built around embiid, so it's in better shape. they don't depend on harden like his previous teams did, which is a good thing, as he's not the guy the media said he was. but he's a damn good second option. and philly's got some defenders. they're a problem.

i'd don't know that i ever called them a juggernaut, but i fully expected them to come out of the east. and that ship hasn't sailed yet. as others have said, you're talking about rivers here. when his teams are expected to win, things often go sideways.

what happened in the second half? i watched the first and was disappointed in both jokic and denver. their offense was just in the muck, which is atypical. on the other end, the suns' (incredibly ugly) offense was working pretty well.

glad they pulled it out, must have stopped going to aaron gordon isos (when did his offensive game get so bad?).

So if the Lakers are down by 15 at least going into the 4th, should Ham sit out AD and LeBron. .,,

Plus for Draymond podcast, Lakers have shown to have fire power and depth, yes you shut down D Lo and Rui and Lakers still won

if the brilliant plans keep working, maybe they'll lose the series 6-2? i mean, all they have to do now is play perfect ball for three straight games, and it's not like their top guys are old or that the primary engine of the team has a history of running on fumes to close seasons/playoffs...

hope russell sees this, btw, as i think he can still light them up, even with the (son of a) hof defender on him.

edit: it's also funny that he didn't see that we wore steph out and have the formula for it. if they don't switch our screens, we're going to get downhill against their lilliputian back line, and if they do, we'll find curry and make him work and work and work.
