I wish a reporter would hold up a Westbrick rag doll and ask him to touch the places where the big bad Lakers hurt him and were mean to him.

 

Westbrick always cares more about his play than his team success .

He shoots 3-18 and 1-6 from deep with 5 TOs basically crapping the bed in the team’s season ending loss and is talking about how happy he is to be there where they are happy to let him be him. Yeah we’ll see Russ how happy when comes sign your next contract time. And when you’re playing for pennies on the dollar of what you’re used to being paid …. how much less you’ll be motivated to put in extra work when shooting poorly (always) ….. and how much worse those numbers are going to get going forward. Sure as **** they won’t be getting better.

LOL Russ might make Jerry West hang it up rather than have to watch him every game muck up what he tries to do for the team. West can’t be on board with this would be my “guess”.

 

And his great games are still L's

"Let Russ be Russ" is just not winning basketball and from the comments he made after the game, he still doesn't get it.

It's not a great quality, but I wonder if he even possesses the ability to look back at this years from now to shake his head at his younger self

Jeanie always does. She’s got class. Unlike these two jacka***s doing nothing but throwing shade at the Lakers since they left. Hell, with Russ …. while he was here last season.

 

Makes sense, but is hilarious considering how the season went and Russ experience in LA

RW: F you, I don't want your krappy ring!!!! The Lakers suck and you ruined my career!

 

Imagine if the only ring you had as a HOF'er was for a team that made it to the championship ONLY because they traded you and your albatross contract. Not really a ring I'd be super proud of and wear all the time. "Who wants to hear the story about how I got my championship ring?"

Going to be tough when that next contract is for the min.
