Sure but you know the Lakers , they don't even hide it in their comments " Game 1 was a must win , we got HCA back" , you know what's likely coming .. Anyways , it's usually what happens for every team
100% Your comment is very realistic with this squad. But it will be hard to beat the Warriors if they do what they usually do...
Yeah I would go for the kill but by playing AD and Bron less than in Game 1 in the 1st 3 quarters .. and if you still have a good chance to win at that point , you go all in in the 4th .
Gotta admit: I have a bad feeling about Game 2. Hope I'm wrong. Of course! Well, we'd still have HCA. But if somehow we pull it out in Game 2, it's probably over, GSW will be cooked. But I confess: got a bad feelin'.
IEM Intelligent Energy Management Warriors are a terrible road team. I bet the rotation the next game is 10 deep, and then we whoop them at home. But we'll see. I never know what type of juicy bacon Ham has up his sleeves to surprise us.
i wonder if we'll show our entire hand in game 2. kerr will have to at least try some different things, i would think. we don't have to. one thing i want to see is a purposeful attack on offense if they go to a zone. i want us to be ready for that.
Back to reality game 2, warriors will be hungry and possibly make changes for the better, while the Lakers haven't shown a killer instinct all season, effort, preparation and hopefully no physical fatigue is what needs to happen tonight. Going to have to lessen the minutes on the big 2, with hopefully more role players putting up big numbers to win tonight
Must win game for Golden State period..they aren’t beating us in 4 out of 5 games. The Warriors only won 11 road games during the season, I'm not convinced that all is now well on that front, just because the Kings choked. I expect them to play with the desperation of a game 7 tonight.
Lakers have the 2nd best record in the NBA since the trade deadline. That's an example of lack of killer instinct?
Another 100$ against the Lakers. I hope they win... even if i'll have to go on a diet for a few days after the game.
Warriors will be coming in full force tonight. I certainly won’t be surprised if we lose. But, if we can weather an early storm from them then who knows. I feel like both their struggles with Sacramento and our strong play against the Grizzlies are bring downplayed. If AD can put up another strong game then we will be in the mix.
GS will certainly come in with adjustments. I fully expect Poole to play more and for them to go even smaller (aka shooters). The below image is just an example of our defense from gm1 were we sagged off Draymond, Looney and really concentrated on face guarding curry/klay. This is to prevent drives to the hoop from guarding the splash brothers so tightly. The obvious way to combat this defense is to go 4-5 deep with all capable shooters in the lineup. Also, the Bucks played this D scheme against GS last year and Darvin was on their coaching staff so hopefully he’s aware/prepared of adjustments we need to make on our side!
