Definitely. Not one but two severe and similar leg planted and heavy body falls into it …. s*** happens injuries. The second if I recall (could have been the first) it was his own teammate falling into his leg. And the 2nd happened not too long after he’d gone through a hard rehab from the procedure to fix the first.
Right on cue, as soon as he feels it slipping away. Surprised he didn’t at least wait a few games though
People saying the suns have an easy road because of the Clippers injuries, nope the nuggets are a beast of a team
Suns offense is so bad. It's all a bunch of iso's to get Booker or Durant mid range shots. Paul seems kind of useless as an off ball guy TBH as well
Obviously the only team I truly care about winning is the lakers. But if we get knocked out, it then becomes “anyone but cp3, harden, clippers or C Bags.” Lots of things looking good so far.
Once more, we, if we are out, should all root for Denver. Jokic is what basketball should be all about.
suns were barely beating the clippers without kawhi/PG. not impressed by them at all i'd be surprised if denver doesn't take this series
Suns defense , including its POA one, will have to be better to limit the Nuggets offense imo , you have to be more physical with Murray and wears him out . On the other hand , Suns don't exploit Jokic poor rim protection much by shooting a lot of midrange J's , you're not going to put him in foul trouble this way either As I said before , Nuggets are a team , Suns aren't one yet. I don't think Suns individual talents are enough to overcome it . Nuggets in 6
BTW... assuming we move past Kings/GSW... Jokic is a problem. He's gonna require AD to guard him on high post/perimeter, opening up the paint. We might need to move to play Rui instead of Vando on Jokic and have AD as the secondary. Basically have Rui playing C.... on D. Vando is too small for Jokic (so are Rui and AD for that matter, but less so).
I like the Nuggets matchup for us , we will live in the paint . No D12 this time and Gordon at the 4 is more physical than the Blazer player we played in the bubble though ( his name doesn't come to mind right now) Would take us 6 games to beat them this time imo
I think you are overly optimistic. Jokic is twice the player he was in the bubble, IMO, and Gordon and Carter (or is he Porter?) will feast unless AD is there.
AD always has been a pb for Jokic , more than Jokic is for AD If I could choose an opponent for the Lakers among the 4 remaining teams in the West , I'd go with Denver . We just match up well with them
