Ham just isn’t good at recognizing matchups and fitting your lineups to compete with the opposition. He’s downright bad at it.

I’ll just repeat myself from the game thread - taking out AD (and DLO too I think) when we cut the lead to 1 was certainly a choice.

Starters actually hung in there. Ham just needs to stop playing the bench all together like a clown. I'd try Bamba cause we need a rim protector if AD is out.

Obviously LeBron didn’t have the offense tonight. Darvin Ham needs to understand that he is an NBA coach.

Use. Your. Timeouts. When. They. Are. On. A. Run.

Loss is on Ham. Lakers had them reeling and he refuses to change how he's staggers AD minutes to match JJJ.

JJJ killed the Lebron/Rui frontcourt in the first half just like most of the series and proceeded to do so again. Honestly I think the Lakers maybe winning all the minutes in this series except this lineup.

Stupid stupid stupid. They were on the ropes and he let them off the hook

Only 21 minutes for Rui? Bad call.

23 combined minutes for Beas and Brown? Bad call. Bump up Rui, Vando, and Dennis instead.

Bron? 37 is too many when the tank was on E tonight.

    Timeouts. USE THEM. Fail.

Pulling AD when we made the last run we had in us. Dumb.

Not calling a timeout while the other team goes up 20 is also a choice. Lol

I think we lose regardless because we had to have more energy (not possible after the last game) or hit 3s (also not possible tonight), but how can you not read the room here?

If the Suns can basically play their starters the whole game, Ham could have left them in to finish one game so they can get more rest waiting on the warriors/kings series.

He just needs to take AD out when they take JJJ and bring him 1 or 2 minutes after they bring him back in. AD would still get plenty of rest but it wouldn't allow JJJ to get free reign on Rui/Lebron. Honestly the only time this whole series where overall they look bad.

The Killer B’s (Beasley and Brown) were a spectacular-23 and -26 respectively in the +/- yet Ham kept trotting them out there.
