Stupid turnovers almost cost us in OT. Good overall game despite that. 12 pts on 3-5 with great defense.
He was really good on defense and that steal pass he had to start OT was sensational. Have no idea why he can't see the right read when he drives though. When he's swarmed lakers have to do some practice time with him to make the right read - some very costly TO's but like DLo the Lakers don't win the game w/o him
Impressive D. Couple big shots when the offense was sputtering, but holy s*** that handle is loose! I'm all for crowd engagement, but there's got to be better ways than that Dennis.
I love Dennis this time around. He hustles, sometimes gets back impossible shots, but he should NEVER run the offense.
He started off super hot and then ham sat him for like an hour, glad he was able to find it again. He’s not a PG though, he can’t be running the offense. We needed all he brought though, good game from him.
Zero vision. Straight up to no one. I guess that’s why he isn’t a PG. At least he can make his FTs in crunch. (Looking at you AD).
If Kennard is in the game: you have to bring Schroeder in to head hunt him. There is just no way Kennard can stay in front of him and the Lakers need his shooting off the court frankly
Dennis the Savior. LeBron with the careless pass, Ja with the timely TO, Dennis with the brilliant pass sitting from the floor.
I love Dlo and HIM, but Schroeder showed why he’s necessary on this team. No one else would have been able to stay attached to the JA’s of the league in a situation like that. Dennis can be a hell of a defender on that type of guard.
