we don't seem to carry enough urgency to take care of this game on the road, but especially doubtful after running bron for 45 minutes

Love to be wrong on that though

Wow they sure LOOOOOOVE to talk when they’re up, but super quiet when they’re down. And yes I agree on game 5, can’t see us winning it, they will give everything they have, we will have to close it out at home in game 6 if we are going to.

I like most of your post, but I sure wouldn't call this "cruising"! :)

    Memphis is no joke.
The trio of Ja driving with Bane shooting and JJJ inside is really really good. Throw in the refs deciding that the Lakers should be treated like it was 80s basketball again and this was a very good win.

If the Lakers beat them remember this was a well deserved number 2 seed and is way more impressive than anybody else 1sr round wind. They had homecourt as well

Absolutely agree as I did with you in GT, Pioneer10. Memphis is a really good team. This was a battle tonight as I thought it would be. It was hard fought and a great victory over a tough opponent. It'll take even more effort to close them out.

Pretty sure we could use Mark right about now. Probably still better than Bron at C.

The more I think about this, the more I put it on the coach. Our offense looks non-existent. Maybe with more practice together, it gets better, but maybe not. Phil would have found a way to get more out of his players. That is all I am saying. I thought Rui's minutes were handled horribly tonight as well.

was thinking the same thing when miami took game 1. they're a terrifying lower seed, just like us. well-coached, jimmy's a gamer, they have experienced guys. boston probably beats them (and definitely doesn't go down 3-1), but it would have been a much tougher series than atlanta.

winner of boston/philly is salivating right now.

This angle of Ja's drive on Bron... yikes

Grizz medical staff need to show him this and explain gravity and career longevity to him.

Riley could have done a better job surrounding Jimmy Buckets after the bubble .

Nobody can score on this roster besides him when it matters as we have already seen last year against the C-bags

the duncan robinson deal was rotten from the start. felt like we had already exposed him a bit at that point. it hamstrung other stuff, imo. add in paying herro that big cash, and you're kinda stuck. riles will, of course, wriggle free somehow. durant will demand a trade there this summer or something.

Man, Budenholzer screw the pooch with this one. He just let Jimmy torch them, just stood there and watch. Like he was a fan, not a coach.

Yeah, Lowry’s window was too small and their shooters are making too much in comparison to their actual contributions. They've done a good job of scouting and finding cheap players outplaying their contracts -- Martin, Strus, and Vincent. But it's time two pay two of those guys this summer if they're keeping them or find replacements.

They need to move Lowry’s expiring next season to try to get Jimmy some high end talent other than just Bam. If anyone can do it, it's under-rated the-table Riley.

yeah, some star is going to demand out and somehow riley will trade lowry for him without anyone else knowing there was a bid.

It would be great BUT I think we'll see them for Game 6. They're young, brash but talented and they probably have one more game in them. They have been really good on their home floor.
