Yea, but the thing that happened in game 82: Lebron 8 for 14 from 3: I worried that he thought he could do that again, and tonight he was 1 for 8, and it hurt us. It wasn't the reason we lost. MEM mugged AD constantly and they protected the rim really well. D-Lo was bad again. MEM got a lot of paint points early, etc.

You go out, play C with Brown, Beas and Dennis as your running mates. Good luck, Ham is delusional.

With no center to boot. Terrible group that has been bleeding points this series. I don't think TBJ and Beasley should be playing much at all but they certainly shouldn't be on the floor together.

Lebron worries about his own stats , but not enough of getting others going 1st.

    -17 is pretty bad

To be fair I thought Lebron was vital in our third quarter comeback. The thing is we just started out so flat against the Grizz and got down by 15 at the half and 20 early in the third. Lebron was fine IMO. He needs help from Dlo who was bad all around and needless to say AD on offense. He can’t carry this thing alone or just with Rui and AR against a good squad like Memphis.

It’s cause he plays a lot of minutes without AD. Team gets killed when AD is on the bench and Lebron is center with Beasley and Brown out there. Ham is gonna have to make an adjustment with the rotation.

The team also needs to abandon the Lebron up top pg offense. He’s just too slow now. The man has to settle for threes over Tillman for goodness sake.

He’s very effective on the block posting up. That should be his primary operating spot. We went to that way too late.

    too. many. threes.

    no defensse on his man

It's LeBron who needs to be a lot better in game 2 on shot selection and defense, and he needs to get AD the ball in his spots.

Elon has HUGE problems these days. Idiotic decision to offer to buy Twitter, rethink it and try to back out and then be made to honor the offer; exploding Tesla inventory and multiple price cuts trying to move it while shrinking his margins and now again tanking the stock …. and an exploding Starship test.

i'm surprised it's even lasted this long. this and AD catching beyond the arc for anything but a corner three. these guys aren't great if you use them terribly.

Bunch of Excuses for LeBron, he was clearly the worst with -17 on the court. He didn't share the ball early on, offense had no team flow, he chucking up 3s trying to build be the stat sheet hero from his previous low scoring game, the role players suffered because of his ego.

i think we'll get to find out whether lebron's issues are just that he's having to play center. i don't think that's it. i think it's that memphis knows they can go at him anywhere on the floor defensively, and they also know that they don't have to send a second defender unless he's in the post, where he doesn't seem to like to play.

I think we need more ball movement and get into our offense quicker. Lebron needs to be off-ball more and when he's in the post good things happen more than not. He's too old to create off the top of the key and even in the Mike Brown Cleveland era with freak show LeBron, LeIso was just not efficient.

Memphis' defense was able to settle in as our offense was too predictable and then everything slowed down to a slog. That means more ball movement, cuts off ball, player movement, absolutely no LeIso no matter what. More PR with DLO, Austin, and Lebron and Ludabrow as the "big". We used to run Austin / Lebron P&R but I don't think we did that at all last game, that used to be very effective.

They stopped drop coverage and went to switch heavy - I think they're going to have to go a lot more "big" AD/Lebron with "small" reaves/schroeder to help
That also likely means a lot more Lebron post-up: the only issue I saw with the Lebron pick and roll is we missed a bunch open 3's and Vando had trouble finishing off his dives (may just have to play AD more minutes so he can just smash in from close range)

In terms of defense: I think Lebron's defense was actually really good in game1 but he's just not a center

i mean, he's bigger than xavier tillman and as big as looney, right? he doesn't want to be a center, but guys his size play center plenty these days.
