Your points make sense, but I guess I don't go by net rating as much - Cavs are the #2 net rating team for the season, Bulls are the #3 net rating team post ASB, etc. You're right that Middleton isn't the same dude, but he doesn't have to be, he just has to be positive enough to push Bucks over the edge from losing a 7 game series to winning one. Anyway, you and others might be right here, but I think we all hope you're not. Also, to clarify, you think that once PG comes back, the Clippers are going to go 4-1 or 3-1 or better?
Golden State was lucky with the injury situation in the West last season. I'm just not getting all this Warriors love talk. They really aren't that good IMO. They should beat Sacramento, however it wouldn't be the most shocking "upset" of All Time, or something, if they don't. Yeah they won the chip last season..so?
Thats why i would never have curry in the same breath as kobe. Cuz curry plays no defense and never tries to defend the best player on the other team. He has klay or green for that….
Too much Klay down the strech , running off ball actions for him instead of a Curry-Dray PNR down the strech is laughable
LOL... Snider's face says "I know Imma pay for this s***..." Come on, Quin. Come home and replace the Pimple.
Is there a coach who throws his guys under the bus more often or quicker than Doc? I really hate this finger pointing, overrated donkey. Remember when there were national rumors we were interested in him? Regardless of what people think about Ham, I'll take Ham's biggest weakness over Doc every day of the week.
Trae is the poor man's Curry but based on attitude, entitlement, being a coach killer; you'd think it was the other way around and Trae was the one with 4 rings and two MVP awards.
zach harper's calling for the nba to ban charges. and i agree. i'm not at all surprised it's after morant gets hurt on one against the lakers, but it's still the right thing to do. the game was not made for people to stand around while someone else tries to score. HOWEVA: what this means is that offensive fouls can be called even when defenders are moving and/or airborne. the rules have of course always allowed for this, but over time, it became ingrained offensive fouls are only when defenders are stationary on the ground. pardon me if i don't trust officials to handle this properly. but yeah, standing around hoping someone runs into you isn't basketball, just like lurching sideways into a running defender for no reason also isn't basketball. at least neither of these make it fun to watch or play.
yeah, and i think opponents of this proposed measure are thinking it means offensive fouls won't exist, but i think what it means is that you can't draw an offensive foul on an airborne player by just standing under him (i suppose if they climbed up your back or something, but...). and again, i don't think it requires a rule change, really. just make a statement that standing under the hoop with your hands over your balls isn't a legal guarding position, and then interpret the rules as they're written. in ja's case, AD would have jumped, and the foul would have still been on ja, because AD was in position and making a legal attempt to stop the shot attempt when ja ran into him. problem is that had AD jumped, the refs were going to give morant the fts, so the smart play is to just slide under. it's also the very dangerous play.
