I do agree with this. What annoyed me about this whole thing is I’ve never heard anyone say the team that got a title lost the trade until now.
Considering how many teams have not won a title for years and years it seems crazy to me that any trade that wins you a title is a negative.
doesn't he have an agency with a pr specialist to tell him to just stop? oh wait...he already said his agent told him to stop.
Dear Spencer Dinwiddie, Maybe you didn't get the memo, but unless you've won a ring, it's a real good idea to just STFU. Have a nice day, All longtime NBA fans everywhere
Yes. And also not sure what would have happened without the threats but they can’t let her continue to do that with the really loud shrieks on every opponent’s FT just cause she’s a kid.
Heart: West Nuggets > Wolves Lakers > Grizzlies Warriors > Kings Suns > Clippers Suns > Nuggets Lakers > Warriors Lakers > Suns East Bucks > Heat C Bags > Hawks 76ers > Nets Knicks > Cavs Bucks > Knicks C Bags > 76ers Bucks > C Bags Finals Lakers > Bucks Head: Change WCF to Warriors > Suns Finals Bucks > Warriors
Yeah, that’s where I’m at too. The C Bags have been the best team all year by net rating, only ones in the Top 5 on both ends of the court. To make it worse, I’ve got Clippers/Warriors in the WCF too. I think PG makes it back by Game 3 or 4 and I just can’t see their Kawhi/PG era going down with just the one WCF appearance in 2021.
i'm iffy on clips because the suns are fully healthy right now and should get an advantage on them early. if the clips take game 1, i might change my mind, though. but yeah, i'm not loving the options this year. i'd prefer bucks/warriors or bucks/nuggets, but i'm going to be shocked if boston doesn't come out of the east, tbh.
I agree that if Clips take G1, they're in a really good position, but more likely - even if PG comes back by G3 or 4, Clips are down 0-2 or 1-2 by then. So then Clips would have to go 4-1 or 3-1, which seems unlikely, so I think Suns get by them, barring injuries. For Bucks-C Bags, they're both really good teams, and I could see it going either way although I think Bucks are better - but I'm a little surprised that some of you seem to feel strongly about C Bags being better. They may have been better earlier in the season, but Bucks have been better in the 2nd half, and are 21-5 with Middleton since he's come back. Bucks took C Bags to 7 last year even without Middleton, and although C Bags are better than they were last year in general, they also look like they have more injury issues and potential concerns currently. So although it's close, I think all factors combined, it points to Bucks having the edge imo.
Ehhh, it’s not really true that the Bucks have been better the second half of the season. The C Bags lead the league in net rating since the All Star break at +7.6, the Bucks are actually 8th at +4.5. For the whole season, the C Bags are at the top with a +6.5 net rating while the Bucks are at +3.6. I think the key to understanding the Bucks is their expected win/loss; it’s only 50-32 despite them actually winning 58 games. I think their experience and continuity, as well as some pure luck, has inflated their record beyond how good they actually are. Also, if you’ve seen Middleton play at all this year he’s not the same guy. He actually wasn’t having a very good year last season, which is why I’ve never bought that the Bucks would have beaten the C Bags if he played. The C Bags routed them in their four victories. As for the Clippers, I picked them over the Suns because I think George is back Game 3 or 4. The MD guy I follow on Twitter to track injuries for fantasy football purposes thinks so and he’s usually pretty good so that’s what I’m going with lol. It’s really more of a gut feeling that they’re going to make one more serious run with that core and it kind of has to be this year.
