he was a problem on defense v. the jazz. he's got to give more resistance on the ball. he's a good enough athlete and big enough to at least do that.
Really hope he turned the corner with this one. We'll need it. Either way, nice to see him put up a big night for us.
He plays well with Reaves (well everybody does) but Malik and HBK must be together, Austin just finds him ready to shoot, he must stay away from DS lol
The positive is that he and others got some good minutes and hit some shots with AD and Bron coasting and missing shots.
Good night for Beas. He brings a lot to our team when he is playing with confidence. This might kick start a hot streak which couldn't come at a better time. Beas, Austin and Russ give us a lot of options.
I do too. If he could dramatically improve his defense, like Rui did, he would force Ham to play him.
Rui is a great example. These other guys want some minutes he laid out the blue print. Defense is a mind set first, they can be taught the rest. Malik and Lonnie decide to invest in some defensive we will be set for years.
I’m pretty impressed with Malik’s athleticism, size, willingness to attack the rim and cut and his “efforts” at least on defense …. in addition to his shooting capabilities from deep. Seems that if Rui can up his game in that regard with this staff that Beas has the capability to do that as well.
