Doesn't deserve that... had really a bad game. It's just, he's good enough to get 37 playing badly. If he played well, he'd have 20 and wouldn't have to play in the second half.

physically gifted enough to put all time great empty stats, but the eye test tells you about his flawed game loud and clear

    and he's my favorite player

Lebron haters in full force after a win lol.
Took a lot of 3s but that was pretty much due to the collapsing 3/2 look Utah switches to prevent AD from getting to the rim.

He adjusted and went to drive, missed one he should have made off a nice pass from Schroeder and played well in OT.

Olynk was just throwing up crap but that Hams defense he plays a drop coverage. From Ham standpoint I wish he would have with Rui and put him in Olynk and had Lebron cover THT. THT bulky ball game didn't work at all when Lebron was switched don to him. Both the Rs Rui and Reaves really have a nice chemistry with Lebron. Rui cutting game really looks nice with Lebron

That's fine. I am a hater then. He had a bad game. You think otherwise, I am not sure what you were watching.

A “bad” game or a far from perfect game where his 37 points on some also “great” shots and with some great passes certainly helped win the game? Still not in pre injury form but getting there. Tough crowd.

What an assumption to make. I didn't think he had a good game for his standards. The problem is the jumper is not going.

I do think he did make the adjustment and what everyone complains about when his jumper wasn't falling and he went to the basket. Sorry I don't think he was terrible nor do I think he was awesome. They don't win the game without him though with the way AD was not going.

The I don't know what game your watching is annoying because you seem to think it was all bad. That I didn't see

Him having an awful game was a shared opinion of at least 10 people in the gameday chat so...

    :Kobe Speechless:

Lebron put up 37 points on 52 FG% on a night when he made a concerted effort to get his 3ball right (which he's gonna need if the Lakers want to make noise in the playoffs). Obviously, he struggled but to act like a subpar performance (that resulted in a Lebron gamewinner) from an old Lebron working himself back in to shape is an indictment on his overall game is interesting, to say the least.

Yeah go with the game day chat where everything gets magnified and opinion swings like Olynk flopping. If you watched that OT and thought he had an awful game all the more power to you.

LOL. If he played a normal game, we wouldn't be in the OT.

And this is next level rationalization (from another poster, but it illustrates the same point):

The usual " Lebron as a Laker" clutch experience , at least he's making his FTs in the clutch this season .

frustrating up and down performance, but we got the win. It's the end of a road trip at the end of a long season. Sixers were up 7 last night with 9 seconds left and nearly choked that game away. This stuff happens. Let's be happy we got the win and take at least 2 out of the next 3 to lock up the 7 seed or potentially move into 6 if the Kings can beat the Dubs.

Did you think you were Kobe? They don't love you like that. They don't love you like that.

    -- Draymond (Probably)

I'm sure bron is used to it by now. He'll never be in Laker hearts like Kobe was.

I’m not sure what kind of positive “assumptions” you can expect when calling other Laker fans haters in your opening sentence.

It was tongue and cheek but I stand by it. Posting history is there for everyone to see and TBH pointing it out isn't denigrating Laker fans. Particularly when folks wouldn't be bothered by labeling a ton of fans including me as Brick haters for example. I would own that and it's not like I could run from that statement based upon my posts. Double standard take here IMO

I don't care, really. I do not like LeBron. This is, indeed, well documented. But...I don't like LeBron the person.

I do respect LeBron the player. That should not preclude me from pointing out his deficiencies (ad nauseam on his basic 1-on-1 skillset) and saying that he had an awful (by his lofty standards) game IMO. And yes, to me, I'd take Kobe over him in all scenarios.

I could reply with "<certain protective sport equipment> <a person who travels along on a horse or bicycle>" epitet, but I refrain. Not productive.

Nobody is going to ever be in Lakers hearts like Kobe was/is. Especially since he has passed.

Find someone who can play as well as he, stays with us his whole career and has his heart and mental toughness!?!! Don't see one on the horizon!
