as he ages, we'll see if that is true or not, but I think he needs to handle the ball less and play a smaller role in the overall picture in order to be most effective

DAR is important for us cause he can use the opponent's ball pressure against him .

Our others guards are struggling a lot against it

When I say Lebron is going to Lebron, it's not necessarily playing the game the same way. I expect Lebron to become more like Magic, than Kobe as he ages. That's why it's important that we add another reliable scorer, over a traditional point guard. The final evolution of Lebron's game IMO, is going to be the high assists/less scoring Lebron. I don't think he can sustain attacking the basket bully ball much longer. The body is wearing down. He can still go out, and get 15 assists on any given night, if he chose to do that. That's the best version for our team IMO. However D'Angelo has to step up, and prove that he can deliver the buckets in crunch time. If not, we need to find someone else.

oh I agree he'll score less, but I also think he needs to not be the one with the ball in his hands all the time. Too much pounding and not enough movement doesn't benefit the offense at all.

He needs to become a cog in the machine, but not the engine. This is something nearly all stars struggle with as they age. Not too many have navigated that too well. Maybe Vince Carter in recent times? I don't see lebron being willing to play that kind of roll, and nor does he need to yet. But when it is time, can he?

He played well off the ball with Reaves initiating the last game he played. The ability to hit catch and shoot 3's makes transitioning much much easier and he's definitely capable of that

All of this makes me appreciate Kobe even more. Very few in the history of the game had his level of determination and pain tolerance.

At 110 million for the next two seasons? He's not about to take a back seat to anyone but maybe AD, anytime soon. If he can play, we'll be fine, how long will he stay healthy is the question.

there's no question today's NBA players are a bunch of softies, but it's also worth noting that a lot of the time it's the teams/medical staffs that keep guys out for these bogus "soreness" injuries. like i don't think AD chose to sit against the rockets a few weeks ago

You can't blame teams for doing that when they're paying these guys $40 million per.

I don't think that is the question, the question is when it is time, WILL HE? Personally, when that time comes, I think he calls it quits and rides off into the sunset.

Absolutely that's why he gets paid 30 million dollars. We missed him in the month that he was out, and we missed him against Chicago.

D'lo and AR are a great pairing. Keep them both starting and playing together for many years.
