    Sounds encouraging. If any Laker can return ahead of schedule, it's Bron. Just please for the love of my sanity avoid further injuries in the meantime and let me have a playoff run with this team.

    Yeah, maybe this time we're actually going to be healthy for the playoffs. Now, even if we get there I am not expecting too much until this team has a proper rest & training camp, but still... it would be nice to see the potential.

    At the same time, Lebron-whisperer Windhorst (note the "wind" in the name) says today that Lebron "isn't close" to playing.

    On another thread, very recently abeer3 thought we were all about next year and sees a "spirited" first round exit for us, which, in my sober mind, I think, "He's probably right."

    And yet how easy is it to come to grips with this? Even though I'm as old as dirt and remember watching The Logo play for us, there's a part of my brain that's still a 9 year old boy, and I can't accept the Lakers EVER not going to the Finals at least.

    Lebron, if you truly care about the Lakers, you’re primary goal this summer should be to use your power to ensure we re-sign Austin.

    I think he wanted to retain Caruso, but deferred to the FO who was motivated by cheapness. He can’t let that happen again with Reaves.
