Yeah, we are stuck with Hambone for at least another season.

I really hope Schroeder is starting because they want the extra ball handler with LeBron out. It would be really f***ing stupid to start him and DLO regularly.

Don't start DLO with Dennis, please. Dennis can get a ton of minutes off the bench and still do damage.

This time a million. The problem is -- Ham is an idiot. We won that game, so it must be because of his genius lineups.

I’d lean toward Austin or Beasley (though he did struggle) starting for us.

I didn’t have an issue with starting Dennis tonight though. We will definitely see different starters as we figure out which groups play well off of each other

Unfortunately, Maxy's gonna be the odd man out, with Lonnie right next to him. Not enough guard playing time.

So when you're not drooling over your 3 point guard lineup you can get back to focusing on defensive schemes? Glad to see it.

Welp have to say Dennis earned his starting role tonight. He’s playing now the best basketball he’s ever played for us plus anyone else think his handles are better now than when we had him 2 years ago? Actually it didn’t suck having two starting level ball handlers out there. Like him better with Russell than Beverley for size and the larger repertoire of offense even if Bev’s a better defender. I just hope if someone is going off on us from the perimeter that Darvin will have the sense to try to cool them off with Vanderbilt before the game gets away from us going forward. Wow he is impressive. The D wing we have needed.

Yes, it helps when Dennis gets the benefit of playing alongside a larger guard in DLo. Van should get more PT on a team needing his defensive intensity.

I don’t agree with Ham *shrug*. It was fine tonight, because LeBron is out, but when he’s back you’ve got too many people that need the ball. It’s the same reason even though Reaves is good enough to start I still don’t start him, I let him run things from the bench with Dennis, in part because as good as Reaves is he isn’t a PG, the bench needs one. One of DLo’s strengths is his size at PG as well, that strength is taken away with him going at SGs. I agree Dennis is a better defender, better for guarding quick guards, but that could be a reason he closes. I would still like to see how we’d look with DLo, Beasley, Bron, Rui, AD. DLo can play SG, but I don’t think he is one. Still, I agree that it’s much, MUCH better than Dennis and Bev or Dennis and Russ, so I’m not going to get too upset over it, tonight they won us the game. I just feel like Dennis‘ abilities are best used as a 6th man.

Maybe it's the size but it's more likely the shooting threat from Dlo is just above a level than what the Lakers have had since I don't know when.

Schroeder is a driver first and foremost and when the defense sags on him enough he's got enough time to take his 3pt. I think he's a better pull up 3 pt shooter then a catch and shoot guy but the s*** is f***ing slow. With DLo that lanes are just much larger so the game is a lot easier for him
