Looks like a good scorer. I have not been real familiar with his game, hell with any of our new guys, other than DLO. Definitely have improved our team.

i've watched him a bit. he's not a great defender, but he tries and is competitive. reasonably athletic. streaky shooter, but overall good. legit size for position.

i said in the other thread that i don't understand pursuing trent now, as beasley does a lot of the things you'd want trent for. basically a slightly poorer man's trent.

Trent looks better. It would give us the guarantee that we have at least one (or 2 and even 3) high volume shooters in the court. Our offense would be much fluid.
Trent is also someone you're comfortable finishing with. Not so much Beasley

I think he and DLO will fire 12-15 threes a game combined. For better or for worse, but honestly I can't see how it could be worse than the shooting we've had in recent years. At least now we can legitimately outscore other teams if the D is not clicking.

And teams have scheme for their gravity. It's not like Russ, Bev, and DS putting up 15 3s cause the D is daring them to shoot

we'd have won the okc game--even with our terrible defense and their hot shooting--if we had beasley and dlo instead of schroder and bev. i'm certain of it.

LOL … so what? So far Rob has not taken Beverley away from Ham. Bev eats first.

Just defend guards well, that should do the trick.

I’d really like to see him start alongside Dlo. That’s a legit starting backcourt that we’ve been missing all season. The shooting and spacing should improve greatly.

He should absolutely start, IMO. That start backcourt has plenty of size and firepower, it's very difficult to defend both of them, and they are both trigger happy, which is what we needed. Our old players would have trouble creating their own shot -- well, except Russ, who created the shot, but usually shot horribly.

And having Reaves and Dennis off the bench would be amazing.

Totally agree, but don't hold your breath Karacha. This is Ham we're talking about. I can just see him continuing to start Dennis as his security blanket.
