It's been nice not seeing him out there. Hopefully they update his DNP status soon. I want to see:

Please trade him so Ham can stop playing him. Even he's hitting his 3s. The lack of size and athleticism is just so bad on the glass and defense

i really think he's going to be gone by the deadline. ham's getting to see that nothing suffers too much without him, imo.

I can’t take this anymore. He is Ham’s Avery Bradley, and I’m over it, please for the love of god trade him.

Except AB actually shot 39% from three and wasn't completely washed like this fool.

he's just such a nothingburger on offense, and he's not good enough on d given the rest of our personnel. we have to outscore people for now (i hate this strategy, but it's all we got). he can't be part of that.

I know he sucks, but he was pretty funny today. I loved how he got Dame to try to Harden for contact at the end too.

4 points and 2 assists, obvious trash, can’t wait till he’s off the team… right?

Naw, that was legit a great game from Beverley. Played the “irritant” role against Dame perfectly. Feels like some of that attitude he carries rubs off on the rest of the team and helps contribute to the “keep fighting” attitude that they’ve demonstrated by refusing to roll over in these games.

Bev had a team high +/- of +27. Matched up with Lillard most of the game and held him to 5/17 from the field with a team low -13.

He shot 41% from 3 in December, been at 39% from 3 in January.

He’s still an obvious trade chip, but I think Laker fans have been unfair in the hate

Beverley has been terrible this season.

However, tonight was the first game that I felt he showed his "worth" in terms of being an irritant to Dame.

He was +27 tonight - that has to be a season high.

With that said, Ham still needs to be smart about when he plays bev and with what lineups. I still don't like the midget backcourt - would prefer if Beverley is next to bigger players (Christie, TBJ) to really maximize his value.

Hats off to him tonight - his energy was great tonight and he was instrumental in getting us back from the 25 point deficit just from his confidence and swagger.

He's perfect for this type of games, which happen more often in the playoffs. Our team generally lacks talent compared to the better ones so he plays a role in bringing competitiveness and transforming the game in something more emotional, which some guys can't handle.

I think he has a role in this team quite honestly. At the same time he can take some off nights when Lonnie comes back.

On the other hand, his contract is our best trade chip to improve the roster so it also makes sense to use it

I think he'd be a terrific backup PG to Schroeder. Still firmly believe they planned move around a Russ trade and when it didn't happen you have this roster imbalance issues particularly since guys like Russ/Schroeder/Bevs are not knockdown shooters. If just one of these dudes was a shooter like a Patty mills it would work out a lot better

    Schroeder/Bevs
    Reaves/Walker
    hachimura/Brown

But when you have to play Russ: and this is not a knock on Russ. (He physically is just a better NBA body athlete/size means you have to give him minutes to match up) suddenly the rotations are whack too many small guys who can shoot Russ/Bev or Russ/Bevs/Schroeder

Hmm... what does that mean, exactly? I don't know anyone who wears 94... Born in '94? Well, there's Giannis and Embiid, good stuff. :)

But it could be Jerami Grant, LeVert, Prince or Rosier. All '94.

It’s a shame he can’t play more of the Dudley role, I guess because of his contract and because Ham refuses to not start him. We seem to play better with him (we lost more when he was sick for a while), I just wish we could find a way to decrease his minutes, or sit him more on nights when he isn’t contributing much, much more of situational player. We’re relying on him too much at this stage of his career, he’s an energy guy, a locker room guy, he isn’t a starting PG, his minutes need to go down from 26.4 to 18-20.
