Amazing how much defenses can adjust to players.
Looks like they are taking away the pin downs for Bryant and it's making it much easier to guard him
Seems to me he should be shooting more especially those mid range pick and pops to force the defense out more to make it easier for him to roll and get inside.
He's got a nice shooting touch so he needs to make the adjustment and shoot them

Agreed he's got a nice shot, you have to punish the defense and setup some mid range options for him. He's not a one trick pony.

Same with Gabriel.. he's surprisingly decent for the few shots he takes.

I really need Bryant to get better defensively. It’s almost as if he provides zero resistance when anyone, big or small, attacks him. Last night, he made an All Star out of Sengun. I’m not expecting him to suddenly turn into AD down there, but some improvement shouldn’t be too much to ask. He also, by now, should know to box his man out- every single time.

sengun isn't a scrub, but i agree that his defense is lacking and that's why gabriel's been taking his minutes. unfortunately it seems like the opposition has figured out his offensive game as well

I agree, he can play, but he only missed three shots(14-17). If someone who played a bit of D was guarding him, he doesn’t shoot that high of a percentage.
That being said, TB has been a no show on D throughout the season.

TB seems to have hit a wall physically, which is understandable given how hard he plays. He needs rest.

I would settle for him BOXING OUT and improving a bit overall defensively.

Living up to the Bryant name. Career high of 31! The only other Lakers to ever put up 30/10/2 with 4 3PM: LeBron, AD, Brook Lopez, and Kobe.

Man those 2 dunks to keep us at arms length at the end were awesome. Needed that huge game from him big time.

can't wait to see him play next to AD, I think they will fit well, and obviously improve our size and rebounding.

They really need to use that jumpshot of his.
He can Energizer bunny some of these dudes but other like Sengun and even Embiid have Bryant force those guys to come out.

His jumper just looks smooth and he's got a quick release on top of it.

What a comeback by the kid, he had a run of about 8 games then he kind of disappeared for 5 games and now he's back, I hope he starts getting some consistency especially when AD gets back.
