There’s still time to course correct.

Long as both Dennis and Bev are here Ham just seems like he won’t. Like something else other than giving up 35 a quarter and killed on the boards and dropping Walker’s effectiveness to a third of what it was …. is somehow more important to him. :swear: :swear: :swear:

Yeah, what did Lonnie do to Ham? The kid has looked very good throughout the season when he gets burn. He’s inconsistent, but so is every player not named AD and LeBron on this team.

Typically with Schroder and Beverly starting together he has been relegated to a catch and shoot player, not handling the ball nearly enough, while those two guys trade off pounding the ball …. vs when just Bev was playing and Brown was starting Walker looked like a versatile scorer at least as good as what Monk was giving us last year. He’s been neutered ever since. He was in a good rhythm.

I think Schroeder has had ONE good game this season as a starter? Just like before, I’ve never seen any reason to start him. He’s an over rated defender and can’t shoot from the outside.

i like walker as the starting pg, tbh. we basically started kcp or avery bradley at pg when we won the title.

    walker/bev/brown/lebron/AD
    russ/schroder/reaves/JTA/bryant
with gabriel as the plug-in big and nunn as your emergency guard (not that we really need one).

Yeah, if we just had a decent replacement for BevMo and AD could play, I like that starting five of “replacement,” Walker, Brown, LeBron, AD.

Bev does OK at the point in the same fashion with Walker allowed to be a versatile combo guard at the 2 instead of go stand in the corner so Hold My Beer Ham can start the two midgets together for whatever the hell his fetish is with that.

now that bev is starting to knock down his open threes at a respectable clip, he's fine. i agree i'd rather replace, but he's no longer sucking my will to live out there.

i'd have walker handle the ball and initiate the offense to keep him involved. bev is used to just standing around or setting screens on offense.

Yeah, IF he wasn’t such a black hole in the majority of the games to date, I would be okay with him. Hopefully, he will continue to shoot better.
I would also like to see Lonnie switch ball handling duties with BevMo. Great idea.

not sure i can take credit for it, since i feel like we've done it a bit, and lonnie did some in SA, iirc. i just feel like he's a strong enough ballhandler to get us where we need to be initiate offense, so why not get him on the floor and involved?

People keep saying Troy Brown doesn't know the playbook and that was why he was taken out of the starting lineup?

This still doesn't make any sense to me as they had their best run with him at the 3 but now that JTA is back why not you know play one of your SF in the starting SF spots (go with either JTA or Brown)

I don't think he's best suited as a starter either. Much better off the bench. But with Russ taking that role he has to play somewhere I guess. For me, the main issue is Pat Beverly who is not starting material no matter what. Lonnie Walker or Reaves should play the two to start. Personally I'd have no problem right now with Dennis, Walker and Brown starting until the time that Russ gets moved. Ship Beverly out as he's just in the way of better of players' PT and more successful lineups.

Agreed. I just haven’t been impressed with “all of these great” guards that Rob has amassed. Give me AR and Lonnie every single time over the smaller guys.

Yeah, I agree. When JTA along with Brown have the highest defensive rating together, you think the coach that supposedly hangs his hat on this would play them more?

He also is much more aggressive driving to the hole, or setting up five and goes when he has the ball. I’m not sure why the coaching staff hasn’t seen this and adjusted accordingly. I get it that Ham is a rook, but this is basic stuff that us non-professionals are seeing easily.

Are there any good coaches out there? It feels like since Phil, all we see, are some kind of saboteurs or morons.

Can't believe he benched Reaves down the stretch in this one with the way he was playing.

Made no sense: he was playing really well and he actually gave Nunn of all people minutes in the 4th.
    -Nunn was terrible
-Lakers spammed the REaves/lebron PnR to absolutely destroy the Hornets defense: guess he didn't want to use it when the Lakers struggled to score.

I don't know what this guy is thinking at times: Nunn/Bevs lineups. Bevs plays like trash over and over again still gets to start.
I guess we're lucky Westbrook got hurt because he was terrible in the 1st half and Ham refused to pull him

It's because he knows Reaves won't be a malcontent like the other vets. But this game was weird cause Russ got hurt so there should be more minutes...
