that was awful. made the dlo trade even worse. i remember railing for months about why we cleared so much extra space when all we needed was the room for lebron's max. never made sense to me UNLESS we knew we had someone else in the bag. we did not, so it was bad. gave up some useful players for pennies on the dollar during that time period.
yeah, dirty play by wagner, ejection warranted. but that retaliation deserves a 10-gamer or worse. you gotta get yourself together.
Just watched the Grayson Allen play on Derozan. I hate to say it, but I'd like to see someone just clothesline that POS Grayson Allen. Make a vicious hit on him that will put him out for many games, but put your hands up - like does - saying "What? What did I do? I'm an altar boy!" Grayson Allen: whatta POS. Seriously.
should have been a single Tech F1 on Wagner, honestly that was not that bad a foul. Seen a million like that. It was a foul and maybe it was a F!. Hayes should be banned for the rest of the year and Diallo an F2. Detroit guys totally over reacted to this.
I frigging hate this guy, I would like to see someone big just clock him. And then have the refs call the tech on him and kick him for a month.
3 games?! And only one additional game then Wagner?! That's absurd. Also do the Magic have enough bodies to not forfeit their next game? Edit: they're staggering the suspensions for the Magic... that's weird
He’s the guy that took Caruso out high in the air around the rim last year with a flagrant and dropped him in a nasty fall breaking his wrist.
yeah, i brought this up amidst all the "get lebron help" articles. i'm like...have you seen what's happening in dallas? keep that powder dry just in case... yeah, luka's the clear mvp. jokic after that, imo. both guys keeping their teams afloat with limited assistance. tatum's got brown and a very expensive supporting cast. i'd have durant and giannis ahead of tatum, tbh.
In my imagination, I could only see the most minute possibility of Devin Booker scoring 81 (or more) in game, due to his 70 point game. Now, I see Luka has having the best chance of doing it. Not that I think he will. Still: 60/21/10 was just friggin' unreal. My gawd!
I mean, to be honest, I do think the 81 points are gonna be broken unless something changes in the league. That said, whenever that happens, I'll probably think it's less of an accomplishment than Kobe's 81 (lets say someone scores 90). Main reason for this is because of league scoring. The 90s and 00s were decades when teams historically scored the least. Wilt's 100 came in 1962, which was unsurprisingly the year with the highest team scoring per game (118.8). The 60s were some crazy years and easily the highest scoring decade in NBA history, but now the 20s is becoming the 2nd highest scoring decade. Right now, teams are scoring 113.7 right now, which is the highest scoring season in 53 years. To put this into perspective, Kobe scored 81 points in 2006, when teams where scoring 97.0 points in average. When you think about that, 81 suddenly sounds even more impressive than it already sounds, but at the same time, with teams scoring almost 17 more points each game, chances of someone scoring 70 or 80 certainly increase. All of that said, what Luka's doing, and that particular 60 points game, are still absolutely amazing.
on cue, mitchell with 71 and a near triple double. danny ainge "the genius" just takin' Ls left and right.
